I'm glad to hear that you and your precious little ones are ok! That must have been a traumatic experience!

Yes, Earth Changes are happening. Where I live, we've been having an intense drought for quite some time now. Looking around, there seems to be an obvious increase in extreme weather patterns, all over the world.

In addition to the other comments made by others, I'd say that your Higher Self is guiding you, so that you are able to complete your life's work, whatever that may be. I don't agree with the religious interpretations of "God smiled on my family" because that would mean "God didn't smile on those other families who didn't survive" which smacks of elitism. I don't think God, or karma, plays favorites! But we each do have our own karmas, as well as pre-incarnational programming, in addition to our free will choices in the present moment. All those factors converge and our Higher Selves may give us proddings or clues. We just have to pay attention!
