My preferred method 'to awaken' would be not to emphasize the tired conspiracy angle of 'unseen hand in the affairs of men' (necessarily present in the unconscious dynamic) which will always be as useful as 'shadows on the wall'. But rather, to directly promote consciousness by encouraging development of will and connection to one's purpose and larger life, which is always there as untapped potential. Ultimately, it will not be our perceived-threat reactions which will subsume the enslavement-drama illusion, but somehow bothering to recognize the spark and to individuate.
