Still don't know whether it's sort of a confirmation -or nudge, as Namaste says-. Only a few years ago I founded a website where people can just send a msg around this 22 thing (a sampler message would open like "Thanks God, I'm not crazy! This also happens to other people").
In all these years I've looked for info on this number. The two basic sources seem to be Numerology and Tarot (although they're both obviously connected). One thing is numerological meaning of the number (power builder or master builder, a very powerful number/vibration, as Gematria says), just like you can apply it when it comes to be your personal number. But another different thing (when not one of your personal numbers) is just seeing it popping out over and over and over everywhere for years.
In the Tarot 22 is the last of the Arcanes and is represented by The Fool, as the one who takes the leap of faith. Maybe the "answers" would be "Use that power to built for the people" or "Take the leap, live in faith and in STO"
Last months it also happens to me this other kind of repeated number synchronicity in digital displays, mostly clocks, like 17:17, 09:09, 22:22.
Anyhow, after all these years I have no doubt anymore that it's no coincidence, nope, absolutely impossible.

It refers to life path numbers, that they calculate on the birthday. What struck me is that it is the number with the highest potential, but also a difficult one.
And you said it turned up also in exhausting situations... hm.
Personally I usually see it as a nudge or a confirmation, and I am always happy to see them numbers , like 3:33 or 2:22, when I am awake in the night and see them popping up on my alarm.
