Ra's calling, Law of One Book 1, Law of Squares

The idea of calling, reminds me of a telephone calls, and of telephone rings. So I wonder if by metaphor there could be an equivalence from a human perspective. Furthermore, I have no sense of what Ra's calling capacity is: if there is some short cut (time space to space time) that allows them to respond in some unconventional way to a very large number of telephone rings, allowing them free time to participate in channeling sessions, dreams and other amusements.
