i wake up in the morning
stretch my fingers and toes

i wake up in the morning
and get into child pose

i wake up in the morning
write down all my dreams

i wake up in the morning
to catch the sun's first beams

i wake up in the morning
all ready for the day

i wake up in the morning
who else wants to play?

i wake up in the morning
spin me water to energize

i wake up in the morning
love's shining through my eyes

i spend all day in nature
leave behind my shoes

i spend all day in nature
a sure cure for the blues

i spend all day in nature
walking in the woods

i spend all day in nature
forgetting about shoulds

i spend all day in nature
watching the colors turn

i spend all day in nature
there's so much to learn

i spend all day in nature
catching leaves that twirl

i spend all day in nature
with my friend the squirrel

i lay down in the evening
take off most my clothes

i lay down in the evening
my weary eyes then close

i lay down in the evening
repeat a mantra in my head

i lay down in the evening
oh how i love a comfy bed

i lay down in the evening
my practice of being still

i lay down in the evening
recalling how i used my will

i lay down in the evening
turn off all the lights

i lay down in the evening
and to all i say "good nights"
