But I don't see anything different other than more of the collective apprehending a need for a new guiding principle (mythos?), or perhaps it is indeed the more polarized individuals wakening to their higher nature or more conscious way of living.

By new I assume you mean what has already been realized by others..like a return to the center.

I mean something that will give them permission to do what is in their best interest.
