Really? You think Ra was speaking allegorically? I think they were being quite literal. The technology we possess is "capable of resolving each and every limitation which plagues [our] social memory complex" but it is being withheld because of "the concerns of some of your beings with distortions towards what you would call powerful energy."

It is, of course, true, that each needs to choose. But Ra said that wanderers incarnated, in part, in order to increase leisure time (through technological means) in order that people could contemplate the Law of One in conscious fashion.

Maybe you think that was a misguided goal? (Unity100 often argued so.) But to say that the "craft" are allegory for self-development seems unsupported in the Ra material. The craft, or similar, are used by fourth- and early fifth-density entities that have not mastered travel by thought. They could be quite helpful here now.

The point being made is that using intelligent energy is reserved until spiritual advancement within the self is attained past a certain level - in that way it is a symbol. "To the disciplined entity, all things are open and free." If we want to take from the universe, we have to come into balance within ourselves.

Ra answers honestly, but doesn't always intend to lend opinion behind the answers. Don asked if free energy could solve our problems, and Ra said yes of course. Whether or not it is the actual answer is a different question. Ra continually stressed that we seek our evolution within.

We've been told Maldek, Mars, and Atlantis all destroyed themselves with various technology. Is our current civilization mature enough to handle such responsibility without perverting it? Clearly it's already being withheld for the purpose of perversion in the first place.

I have a hard time believing that if withholding it was such a detriment to our development (in other words, if it is the actual answer), the balance of positive and negative influences would have allowed it to slip out in some form.
