I am hoping to do the 6 week program that "resets" your hair, so you never have to wash in shampoo again....my reason.....

we moved into a very old house and the bath was badly stained, there was nothing I could do to clean the bath tub as it had been neglected for many years.
I tried all the natural methods first, gradually working my way up to the lesser destructive chemicals and finally using bleach and the CLR...but nothing would shift those disgusting stains .
one night a big wind blew up and as I had left the bathroom window open, the wind blew the shampoo off its perch and it fell into the bath tub and spilt everywhere.
The next morning when I noticed the spill I decided that I would clean it off later in the day when I had my shower, thus killing two birds with one stone (terrible saying) and off I went to work.
Later that evening when I got home and had my shower I noticed that where the shampoo had spilt was where there was a lovely clean white mark.....
After my shower I dried the tub and covered it with shampoo, the next afternoon I rinsed it off and there it was in all its former glory...a nice white bath.

I am up to day 3 of "not washing my hair" oh it is disgusting...but it is the end results that I am working towards.

Last year a couple in the UK did a study based on NOT WASHING using soaps, or using deodorants etc.

Friends and colleagues WERE warned! Just water, and only twice a week. No showers, no immersions.

The fella got a pretty nasty infection in his crotchal region.... and eventually had to have it seen by a doctor, so he exited the experiment.

Now an interesting thing happened to the lady. After about 3 months, her hair went through a horrifically oily stage, and then
went ultra baby soft, and non greasy. Perfect hair.

Also, her body odour changed, and she had a kind of straw/just after rain smell to her.

She asked a perfumist to re-create the smell, as so many people were commenting, and they did, just in time for the international parfumerii exhibition in France. It was an instant hit, and all the big names were going on about it, and describing what they thought
it was based on. Everyone got it wrong, except for one guy, who was with Lancombe.

He said it was woman. Just woman. And he was right.

They did a follow up, about 2 months down the track, and her fella got back in to the program, and also had nice, soft hair.

I am yet to push through the envelope myself...... as if I want any kind of affection from my wife, who is not interested at all in such experiments, - I have to use the usuals..... LOL

If you do decide not to use shampoo or anything other than water, it would be great to hear if this works.

must admit I have a friend in the UK that used to suffer with Psoriasis and he had tried everything modern medicine could throw at him, even the natural therapies guys were stumped... he went to India for a holiday and met a guru type guy who just approached him and said stop washing with everything except water and you will be well again...

That was 4 odd years ago and he did as the guru said.... well you know the answer ... he is living proof that our petro chemical laden world is poisoning us.

By the way his doctor ended up going to India for a trip because of his recovery... Interesting isn't it....

For the majority of people who decided to go no shampoo, here is how I would summarize their reports;
•For the curly-haired —- it made the curl more defined and less frizzy.

•For the thin haired —- it gave more weight and body.

•For those with dry scalp, psoriasis or dandruff —- unequivocally, these problems went away, even for those who had used expensive treatments for years unsuccessfully!

•For those with fine hair —- became easier to work with, felt thicker from the natural distribution of oil and didn’t need products to give them more body.
