Depends on how one would define their "prayer". "prayer" could be an attempt to communicate with intelligent energy, just like "indigo work". I just see the symbolic elements suggested and address what seems to need adjustment. To me it works quickly, however there is a period beforehand which requires some time re-familiarizing with balance. Definitely something that works differently for each person, based on how they relate to or dialog with their own imaginations.
