Do you read about it now? The Holographic Universe (Michael Talbot) and The Fourth Dimension (Rudy Rucker) are very good books. Parallel Universes (Fred Alan Wolf) is good too. And David Bohm's Wholeness and the Implicate Order is good, but has math in it as well and less of a layman's book.
