I like the idea... I've been thinking about this too... T-shirts today are stupid, either you're wearing advertising. Or you're wearing plain shirts.
But... Around here there are print shops. They print everything from everywhere unto anything. (And the kitchen sink) They also print on shirts. So I was thinking it should not be too hard to design a cool and humorous shirt.
Just pick an image like a crop circle converted to black and white, and then put some witty text below it.
Some sugestions for texts:
Ra is my co-pilot.
2012, do you know where your towel is?
Exopolitics: Vote zeta!
(In combination with a crop circle) Cerealism.... WAKE UP!!!
(or) Cerealism: It's what's for breakfast.
I'm sure there are many better choices. I'm not feeling very creative today
I'd keep them light and witty, after all you'll be wearing it in the supermarket
If you convert the image to a high res png, I'm sure any print shop that prints on shirts can handle it. Though I never checked.
I once received instructions to get a random photo from flickr, a random quote from wikipedia and to combine them in an image, almost invariably something "artsy" came up so it should not be too hard.
