For me, the artist is Deuter, and his album Koyasan. It's absolutely beautiful, perfect for either relaxing or meditation. He is a self taught musician, who quit his job to follow his spiritual dream of creating music. His music is a gift to the world, and it's formless style whisks you off to another world, as if floating in a sea of light. Escape from Gravity is particularly wonderful.

I love Deuter. We have been listening to Deuter since the mid-nineties--all the recordings are excellent.

If you go to Pandora.com, you can create a Deuter music station (or any song or artist you like; I have many, many stations), which will bring in more music like it. Then you can refine the station by liking or disliking. It's a great way to discover music you would normally have no exposure to.
