The sequentiality was also as I understood it:
1 is 2^ = 4
2 is 3^ = 9
3 is 4^ = 16
4 is 5^ = 25
5 is 6^ = 36
6 is 7^ = 49
7 is 8^ = 64
8 is 9^ = 81
9 is 10^ = 100
10 is 11^ = 121
= 505, doubled (they called it the doubling effect did they not?) = 1010
1) Not exactly 1012, but because of the distortions of channeling, they have trouble communicating numbers and figures. The number they intended for us to know may not be the number we hear.
2) They said this number was approximate. In the method that we approximate by rounding off to the nearest ten, they may not round off in similar fashion, perhaps by threes?
As you suggest, another example or explanation would be helpful...
