I don't see this as depressing at all. Rather it is to me a beautiful exspresion of creative energy(for me at least, this is my first "poem", I've done hiqus(sp?) before but this feels more poemy to me)
The World Has Ended-random poem that jumped to my mind :-)
The World Has Ended, the clouds are blue and the skies are brown, everything I once knew is upside down, when you walk from here to there, you do so now,without air, The sun burns pink, the stars glow a merry red, soon I fear, I'll be dead.
Sitting here in this cave, starring out at the worldly grave,wishing now that I was dead, for the things I would do,to get a nice warm bed.
Late in coming it will be, the key to salvation cometh to me, like a great heart it approaches, majestic and bright it encroaches, the end has come, put down the drum,accept your fate,to dine with death, the final escape.
