A posting that has been up a week with 37 views as of now and not a single reply. Is that because the subject matter makes those viewing this post uncomfortable? Oh well, I guess then I should have a go at posting some kind of response.

The basis upon which this energy can be used to promote spiritual growth is found in the capacity to love. Without the addition of the love factor there will only be elemental or mechanical transfer of energy. Hence, why random sexual encounters are of little value in spiritual growth without the inflowing of the Telluric or Earth based energy from below through the open lower three chakras the incoming energy cannot be channeled into and through the higher chakras.

I would venture to say that those who've experienced the higher transfers can certainly tell the difference...but I'm curious whether there have ever been any scientific studies showing a difference between casual sexual encounters and emotionally committed encounters. (Not that any of us need any convincing, but...Just a thought!)

When a seeker has honed the intention toward spiritual growth that intent becomes a multiplier of the spiritual effort. In magickal workings the most important elements are the intent and emotion that lies behind the working. The ritualistic aspects of the working become secondary as often it is not the actual words, means, or props that are being used that matters but how strong the intent and emotion is behind the working.

Agreed. The stronger the intent and emotion, the less important the props.

As with the Chinese saying, "Enter by form, exit by form" when applied to martial arts, form (ritualistic aspects) is important in the beginning, but when the energy is charged with intense intent and emotion, those supercede form.

Q'uo does include an admonishment in their answer to remind everyone that it is not how much the upper chakras are opened and crystalized that matters as just the amount that naturally occurs from "Simple, straightfoward, unconditional love and the energies of forgiveness and compassion" is sufficient to graduate to 4D.

The energy pathways are opened by many who have no understanding of what they're doing. The intensity of their love and forgiveness can create the necessary elements of a magickal working.

Conversely, many are those who might go thru the motions, but without the driving force of love behind their ritual.

The mechanics of how sacred sexual energy exchange is achieved is well detailed by Q'uo. It is in the area of intent, emotion, and focus wherein lies the true ability to be use sexual transmission as a springboard for spiritual growth. Sacred sex is as much a ritual as saying a prayer or performing other spiritual rituals. The act must be done with the intent for it to be sacred, for it to be an act dedicated to the wonderment and partaking of Oneness with Creator. It truly must be to achieve the highest and best transfer that both participants are fully aware and are participating in the sacredness of the act.

Q'uo speaks of how each of the upper chakras are involved in sacred sex. It should be quite obvious that unless there is an opening to at least some degree of both the blue and indigo chakras the intent and focus required to make the act into a sacred act will not be achievable. The blue ray is the ray of communicaton and without it being open in sufficient degree you will not be able to adequately establish and maintain a sufficient level of openness and truthfulness that will create the environment in which sacred sex may come to life. The blue ray also is the clairaudient chakra which allows one to hear the unspoken communication of the partner. Indigo ray is the ray of focus, faith, and intuitiveness. Without this chakra being open then the inner senses will not be elevated enough to "sense" what is required to move into sacred sex.

Yes, sexual energy transfer and the magickal personality can be play a role in one's spiritual growth but it is an area that requires great intent and emotion to be able to utilize in any significant degree.

Yes. In addition, if one of the partner's chakras are open, both benefit. The partner with the higher chakras open can raise the other. I'll see if I can find that quote.
