Hello Turtle.
This is not advice, this is fact (for me). Take what you wish out of it, as I surely did with your post!

We have ups and downs, the spiritual evolution can be likened to an axe striking a tree.
The more momentum/rest the greater the impact to the tree/spiritual evolution.

If nothing else, perhaps you have something to look forward to in your disinterest-ness while still being at peace (?) in it.
