This is a good example but not quite accurate, in my thinking.
What the butterfly does is access memory via field of consciousness. Every form or being has a field of consciousness which can interact with other fields. The butterfly may not have lived this experience of migration yet, but its consciousness has, and the interaction of that consciousness with the other fields involved in the process all come together to get the being to where it is designed to be.
This is the perfect definition of the human as well.
These fields are all around us everywhere we go, and there are so many interactions that most go unrealized. Many are instinctual. Many are intuitive, the difference being that intuition is followed by choice where instinct is following a combination of physical and consciousness makeup.
