Ironically, clicking on Austin's post triggers the wrong count bug, or whatever it is, and you end up being taken to the first post in the thread.

Edit: now that there's another post (this one) on page 4 the "last post" link works again.

Horseus: Thank you for bringing up the Malware warning! The entire site got nailed by a Turkish bot using an FTP account that is dedicated to our 3rd party backup service. GREAT!!! Just when I thought I could trust a service that is designed to "protect" us!

I hand-reverted all the files that were modified. I wanted to make sure it was done correctly and that nothing carried over from a previous backup.

βαθμιαίος, yes, this is still a known bug with MyBB that is corrected in the 2.0 coming out in the near future. all 1.x versions will likely have to deal with this issue.

Cool, thanks for pointing that out! I think you caught me right as I was changing the database passwords. Everything seems to be restored.

Please continue with the thorough checking, though! It's very easy to miss something since there are so many facets to the site.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Horseus, thanks for spotting that! I took care of it. The site has many interface points with the database system, and I've been finding that different sections of the site needed updating. Hopefully that was the last of them!

Thanks again, and for flagging the post to bring it to our attention even sooner!

Steve, the site seems to be operating quite fast now, and is very responsive. No timeouts in the last 2-3 days.

some positive feedback for a change, rather than people pointing out where the paint is peeling on your backyard fence BigSmile
