UK Circle of Seeking

Hi there,

We'd like to let Readers of the Law of One in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, and generally this part of the world know that we have a Circle of Seeking happening between Forest Row in East Sussex and Abbots Langley in Hertfordshire. We have been meeting in different regularities since 2005. We would welcome readers of the Law of One and seekers of the Self.

Our next seeking will be on Saturday June 15th 2013 in Abbots Langley. We will start by visiting a community garden that Ian is helping grow, then we will go to Ian and Denise's home for a moment of meditation, reflection, seeking, and sharing. In between we will share food, conversation, energy.

At the Louisville Homecoming this year we had the great pleasure of connecting to our longtime good friend Pupak in that magical corner of Earth known as Findhorn. She and another wonderful seeker named Thanasis held their own Homecoming in Findhorn and offered our group a presentation via Skype.

Pupak sent an email to us and a few other seekers in the UK. She hopes to hold another Homecoming next year in sync with the one L/L Research holds in Louisville! We're excited by the prospect. If you're interested in connecting with her, I will paste her email into this post:

From Pupak:
"I am writing to let you know that we have just had our very first European Homecoming in Findhorn this last weekend with two participants, Thanasis and myself Pupak. We spent the weekend studying the chakra system from a handbook that was created by L/L for the 2006 homecoming. We connected with the Homecoming group in Louisville on Sunday morning via skype and managed to present 'our gifts to the world' in a 45 minute session and interact with the folks on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Later on we had some love in action by gardening, harvesting potatoes, weeding the vegetable beds, and finally we went to see the wild salmon defy gravity and torrential outpouring of their birth river and jump upstream. Although the day we went the river torrent was so fierce only a very few fish were seen jumping, nevertheless they were there with their invincible spirits.

An upshot of our homecoming was to have a regular skyped Law of One study circle. Thanasis will hold this circle and those of us who want to join are very welcome to participate. I imagine this could start sometime in October.

Another outcome of the homecoming for me was to voice an intention I have had for many years, and now had the opportunity to bring it forth. It is about water. I call it : 'message in a bottle : I want to be free.' It is about taking personal responsibility for the water we drink, to not buy bottled water, to always have water that is free of charge with us to drink. I always carry my bottled water with me now. I don't pay for water and ask you to consider this too. That water, like air, should be free for us all. And I encourage you to get hold of your bottle of water and stop buying drinks in plastic bottles. Think of the difference we will make for the earth and environment by taking this step!

We hope to hold a Homecoming Circle in Scotland next year again to synch with Louisville Homecoming. Please do let us know if you are interested to join. We are waiting for the plans from L/L Research regarding next year Homecoming for us to synch with them."

thanks for sharing your video presentation this year Pupak! I was there in the circle at Louisville (I was the 'asian guy', the 'other Garry'), and it was inspirational to hear your story of finding an alternative way to live your life, one based on the land. It always amazes me that spiritual groups can find a way to connect in real life, and create a physical community based on their higher ideals, and make it a sustainable thing.

I hope your UK Circle goes well. There are plenty of LOO seekers in that part of the world.

Hello fellow seekers of love & light,

It has been two weeks since I travelled to meet Pupak in Scotland for the European Homecoming. It was a very positive experience for me so I would like to keep the momentum going by following up with our idea to create a Law of One study group via Skype.

I haven't had time to organise anything yet so I would like to take this opportunity to ask those interested, how they imagine this study circle to be? This way we can create something altogether.

My idea was to connect via Skype once or twice a month and share any recent thoughts, catalysts, ideas or moments of enlightenment we had with the group.

I like this idea as I thought of it myself a couple of weeks ago. Gotta love synchronicities.

My reasoning was slightly different though. I was thinking about what Plenum was saying about losing so much of the interaction by only reading text on a forum vs meeting someone in person. I think having the extra audio and visual senses in play in a Skype or Google Hangouts call would really improve interactions.

So, I fully support this idea. Although I would prefer Google over Skype since Google supports multiple video webcams at once where Skype does not.
