I was a red blob that looked like Patrick from Spongebob. Except I appeared to be made out of jello.

My mom was a green blob and there was lots of love for her. I gave her a hug.

My brother was in a box as a blob and slithering and listening to an evil tv station.

i was putting a puzzle together. idk what the picture was of but it was mostly purple. it was a thousand piece one i think. i was putting it together effortlessly. it was like i just knew where the pieces went. then i got to the end & saw that there were 2 pieces missing & felt really bummed about it but then, shortly after noticing the missing pieces, they appeared & i completed the puzzle. then i started hearing a part of a savage garden song that goes, 'another ditch in the road. you keep moving. another stop sign. you keep moving on. and the years go by so fast. wonder how i ever made it through.' & then i got hit with a strong knowing that the whole purpose of this lifetime was so that, at some beautiful moment in the future, in another lifetime, certain songs would be familiar to me. & then i got another strong knowing & it was that i would not be able to forget anything that has happened in this lifetime & then i started crying really hard bc i'm very attached to the notion that i'll get to forget w/e i want to forget that happens in this lifetime. then the next thing i know i'm dreaming i'm right where i was, in bed, & it was darkish & i looked to see the time but the puzzle was covering the clock & it was now a poster. then a cat jumped on it & i was bummed that someone put it in that location & that it was now getting creases bc of the cat. then i make eye-contact with the cat & right after that happens it runs over to me & jumps on me & starts kneading me & purring & then i hug it & then i woke up.

It's neat isis when dreams go along with us isn't it, rather than going against us.

I dreamed I was ravenously hungry, walking along a strip mall, looking for something to eat. I found a type of pup and went inside. It was a very dull atmosphere. All the colors were muted. There were items listed on a menu at the front of the store, but no descriptions or prices were listed. I saw that they had baked potatoes and told the cashier I would like a dressed baked potato. She told me that would be $23.00 and I said there was no way I was paying such an outrageous price for a single potato and left.

As I exited the store, I almost ran into what looked like a thick, cloudy grey pole with blob-like protrusions coming off of it. The thought of accidentally touching it filled me with such revulsion that I nearly screamed and quickly stepped away. After I had moved the pole looked like tall, spindly cactus, and I wondered if my eyes had played tricks on me, though it was still incredibly odd to find a cactus growing in the middle of Kentucky.

I then looked at the sky, which was filled with beautiful sunset colors, but the clouds were the same strange grey as the pole thing. They were thick and stringy and looked too heavy to stay in the air. They were hanging very low to the ground and I felt like if I touched them they would be solid. The oddness of it was enough to make me temporarily lucid, but then my hunger pulled me back into my original dream objective. I walked by several restaurants, feeling frustrated because I felt like there was something very specific I wanted to eat that I couldn't find anywhere.

I always buy expensive things in dreams. Like I was thinking of spending $485 for the Star Wars movies and comic books.

I was considering paying 70$ for an old 120 m super 8 copy of star wars.

Bought an old projector at a flea market.

In another dream I had a Star Wars type blaster pistol, and I blew up a 1 meter cube with it after it charged and I could feel the shockwave and it stung me. It had 8 levels of charge and I was afraid to charge it up all the way.

My grandma (paternal side) passed away in October. Actually she was my Nonna: she met my Grandpa during WWII in Italy, and he brought her to America after the war. She lived a long life, had many kids and a large loving family both here and in Italy, and her passing was very peaceful and painless. After she passed, I hoped/intended that she might visit me in a dream and let me know how she was. Finally had such a dream last night.

In the dream, I was at my Grandpa's house (he's still alive). I went into the kitchen and saw my Dad, my aunt, and ... my Nonna, watching the food cook over the stovetop, where she always was. I turned to my Dad and my Aunt and kinda tried to read the expression on their faces, to see if they saw what I did. They just looked at me strangely, wondering what was up.

"Don't you see, Dad? Nonna is here -- she's here with us!" I said.

Nonna turned around, a huge smile on her face, so happy that I could see her. She came up and hugged me and held on to me and told me to repeat to them what she said: she was fine, everything was fine, and everyone was very, very loved and not to worry about a thing. (I was hoping she would give me some piece of crucial information that would *prove* that she was actually there -- but those were the messages she felt needed to be shared. Kinda funny and probably what would happen anyhow if you were talking with someone from the other side.)

Unfortunately, my Dad and Aunt both look at me kind of sideways. My Aunt says something to suggest that I am "not quite well" or might have some issues. Dad agrees with her. I pick up on their vibes of doubt, worry, concern, etc. I'm disappointed, but not surprised. And so in adjusting to their energy vibrations, I lose my ability to perceive Nonna. This wasn't a sad happening -- like she slowly, sadly fizzled out of existence and I'm tearing out my hair and screaming no -- it just simply was. And I felt there was something to be learned from that.

At least, afterward, my Dad/Aunt leave the room and I tell my other two Aunts, who are much more supportive and are inclined to believe that my experience was real.

    So yeah. That's my dream.

i dreamt i was at a mall & there were family size marshmellow sacks on a shelf but they were really actually marshmellow kitties & evil mall aliens were abusing them. i kind of panicked because i knew the aliens would soon realize i was not one of them. i had to help the marshmellow kitties so in desperation grabbed 2 & ran but i couldn't save the other ones. i also remember i ate a few of the marshmellows but it was mostly tail/butt so i didn't think it was a big deal. i haven't been eating well. I was a little girl, no older than eight, and my father in the dream was a younger man. He told me "Honey, there's something I want you to listen to." and he played an audio recording of one of my friends being attacked and dragged away by some sort of monster. I could hear her screaming and all sorts of weird, unearthly noises. A tiny, whispered voice then suggested the monster was coming for me next.

I said "Daddy, what does it mean?" but he had suddenly become very distant and didn't seem concerned with me any longer. He said he had to go to sleep. It was after 9pm and the voice had said the attack would be at 10, and I realized he was just going to leave me by myself instead of trying to defend me from the monster. I began to hear running and thudding noises inside the house. He said it was just the weather, even though it was obviously not.

I said that if the monster came I would stab it and if it took me he could use the blood to track me down and save me. He then said he had some papers he wanted me to sign. I looked at the papers and realized he'd been recording my reactions to the monster story, saying I responded "boldly". It occurred to me that I was not a little girl and this man was not my father; he was a scientist monitoring an experiment. I then woke up.

Outerheaven, your dream is similar to dreams I've had of friends who have passed on. One of them, who had been a devout Christian in life, appeared to me out of a beautiful golden light, said she was doing a lot of work on the other side, and told me "Don't worry, you're not going to hell." The other simply sat next to me in my dream and told me that he was okay, everything was fine and the way it was supposed to be. I treasure both experiences.

Has anyone else here felt closer to a dream character than they have to another person in waking life? I've had such a deep respect and fondness for another lady in a dream before.

Am I the only one here that can't recall any dreams? I had a few experiences over time which just happened out of the blue, but each time I try to voluntary enter a lucid dream and that I feel I am just at the door step, I simply fall unciousness and what feels like a second later I wake up in the morning thinking my lucid dreaming experiment has failed once again.

I try pretty much each day and I can stay awake in my mind for quite a long time if I wish so. I only fall unconsciouss when I feel I'm at the point of passing into the astral planes.

Feels like my higher self keeping this incarnation's consciousness locked into reality.  Dodgy

I couldn't really remember my dreams at all aside from little flashes between the ages of around 18 to 28. For some reason I started recalling my dreams again on the week of my 28th birthday.

I do have one question and feel free to ignore it: do you smoke marijuana? I find that smoking marijuana severly limits my ability to recall dreams.

I do.. each and every day...  but I don't recall having a better dream recall in the past before smoking or when I took breaks. Even as a child it was like this.

If you want try taking a break for a week or two and see if it makes any difference.

There was some sort of technology virus that turned people into brainless mutant cyborgs. I infiltrated a base and downloaded some codes that were supposed to help those infected. After that, all the tech zombies began to follow me around. I had to leave through a long tunnel, and as I was walking through the tunnel I saw more tech zombies coming toward me, but then they just fell onto the ground, unmoving as I approached.

Suddenly the tunnel turned very dark and the end of it seemed endlessly far away. I watched as the zombie people slowly turned into amorphous black blobs and sort of melted into the floor. My environment was quickly fading into a vast abyss, with the end of the tunnel barely visible at all anymore. By this point I was completely lucid and thought "If I'm dreaming, I should be able to just fly out of this place", and I willed myself to fly but nothing happened.

I then decided to wake up by opening my eyes. When I opened my eyes my bedroom was filled with bright, reddish-golden light. It was extremely beautiful but I knew it was the middle of the night and there was no logical explanation for the light. I then felt weightless and the room started to spin a bit, and I realized I had come out of my body. I shut my eyes, plopped back into it and opened them again, and the room was dark once more, though the echoes of strange shapes were dancing in front of my eyes in the darkness.

I've seen that beautiful light one other time before, in another dream. It elicits feelings within me that I don't know how to explain...perhaps "homesickness" is the best way to describe it.

my dad wanted to be a woman. he had scissors & was going to cut his sides so he'd have a more feminine figure. i started to freak & said he should see a shrink to talk about stuff since it must have been damaging living as a man if he's not one... then he cut open his stomach & peeled back the skin, took out a pie. i think he even had a red&white checkered cloth to protect his hand.

    wtf?

I dreamed I was the Devil. I was seducing a girl into a relationship while preventing her from realizing what I was. As the dream progressed though the lines blurred and I was both people. Then I couldn't remember which one was playing the Devil. Then I got so confused after realizing we were the same people while also separate I just decided to be fair/cordial as both people to avoid the conundrum all-together.

I had a dream that started off with me as a young woman alone in a dark house. I felt very lonely and frightened to be alone in the house and it was quite dark. I was by myself in the bedroom on the second floor when I heard people enter the first floor of the house. They started calling for me, asking where I was, and it was the voice of someone I knew in the dream (I got the feeling that it was the voice of a boyfriend/partner) but that I knew shouldn't be there. Regardless, I really wanted it to be that person so I tried to reply, but in my frightened state I could only let out a weak croak. Soon enough I heard them coming up the stairs and I knew there was something wrong because I heard multiple sets of footsteps coming up the stairs. At this point the feeling of fear pervading the dream became so strong that I woke up.

I went back to sleep almost immediately and found myself in the same dream. The three people entered the bedroom grinning wickedly. They seemed quite pleased that they were able to create such an atmosphere of fear and they seemed confident that I had no escape. Suddenly out of nowhere a masked man appeared and chopped the three of them up with a hatchet! This was quite gory in the dream and left the young woman quite shaken, but at his point the perspective of the dream blurred and I felt I was both the young woman and the masked man at the same time (though I felt like the masked man knew more than I did and that he represented an aspect of myself that was partially veiled, probably why he had a mask). I could tell that more people were on their way because they desperately wanted to get control of this young woman so we escaped, running out of the house and through the suburban-looking town. There were more of these strangers on our tail and we ran to a train stop and boarded a train. They chased us through every car of this long train but we finally lost them after exiting through the last car.

I don't know why I am always dreaming about being chased or cornered by groups of hostile people, it's a very common theme in my dreams, along with trains.
