Can you comment on the implied sequence of mind, body and spirit in the material?  Not only do those of Ra sequence it this way when they speak of a "mind/body/spirit complex", but this also seems to be the order inherent in the major arcana of the tarot (1-7=mind, 8-15=body,16-21=spirit).  Is there some significance to mind coming before body and body coming before spirit?

Thanks again for the service you are doing us.  It makes an impact in my life on a weekly basis.  Love you all!

Our response to this is in Episode 15, published today: http://llresearch.org/podcast/default.aspx

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
Very nice of you guys to start channeling again, Thank you very much for still doing this I was actually hoping that you guys come back so we may keep reading all those messages of Love and wisdom that has helped many people including myself in understanding Our Infinite Creator. I have a couple of questions that if you can help me with I'll be very grateful.

The first question has to do with the Human energy that I cannot explain I can feel it when I focus in bringing out this energy but I'm not sure what it is. I can relate it with the 'Chakras' but I'm not sure exactly. I'm pretty sure Mr. Jim can feel that energy which for me I can't explain it but I can feel it. Does this energies are the 'Chakras' of the body? I can cover my whole body with this and it gets me tired sometimes. the second question when I'm meditating which by the way I use the 'Visualization' type hard for me to stay quite in my mind hehe. I feel something in the top of my head Ra commented on this I'll leave the question:

44.4 Questioner: Can you tell me how I would hear a positively oriented signal?

Ra: I am Ra. Two types there are of positive signal. First, in the right ear location the signal indicates a sign that you are being given some unworded message saying, “Listen. Take heed.” The other positive sign is the tone above the head which is a balanced confirmation of a thought."

Now I have felt many beautiful feelings from our Brothers and Sisters of the Confederation but is like I'm always doing the talking   how can I hear them in a way that I know what they are saying ? because most of the time I feel their feelings, I try to give them my feelings but as a Visualization type of meditation what else can I do?

Sorry guys English second language.

Meditation types:

49.8 Questioner: Is it better, or shall I say, does it produce more usable results in meditation to leave the mind, shall I say, as blank as possible; let it run down, so to speak, or is it better to focus in meditation on some object or some thing for concentration?

Ra: I am Ra. This shall be the last full query of this work time.

Each of the two types of meditation is useful for a particular reason. The passive meditation involving the clearing of the mind, the emptying of the mental jumble which is characteristic of mind complex activity among your peoples, is efficacious for those whose goal is to achieve an inner silence as a base from which to listen to the Creator. This is an useful and helpful tool and is by far the most generally useful type of meditation as opposed to contemplation or prayer.

The type of meditation which may be called visualization has as its goal not that which is contained in the meditation itself. Visualization is the tool of the adept. Those who learn to hold visual images in mind are developing an inner concentrative power that can transcend boredom and discomfort. When this ability has become crystallized in an adept the adept may then do polarizing in consciousness without external action which can affect the planetary consciousness. This is the reason for existence of the so-called White Magician. Only those wishing to pursue the conscious raising of planetary vibration will find visualization to be a particularly satisfying type of meditation.

Contemplation or the consideration in a meditative state of an inspiring image or text is extremely useful also among your peoples, and the faculty of will called praying is also of a potentially helpful nature. Whether it is indeed an helpful activity depends quite totally upon the intentions and objects of the one who prays.

Gotta go to work guys, cya at night.

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
Here's another question:

Politics is a huge source of catalyst for me: I've loathed the feeling of control or manipulation from an early age. As I to come to terms with this temperament it leads me to wonder about y'all's thoughts on politics.

Is there not an inherent tension in a republic such as ours between acceptance and resistance? On the one hand, exercising oversight upon the government and its agents is not simply a virtue in our system--it is critical to its healthy functioning. So in some sense we are called to be adversarial and resist policies, laws, and agendas that go counter to what we perceive as a proper balance, at least if we choose not to abdicate this duty of citizenship utterly. On the other hand, it is vital that we practice acceptance, and politics too often resembles battle with perceived enemies that doesn't seem entirely in line with the Law of One philosophy. Yet there is a role for the battle and the clash of opposing views built in to the very political order.

How do we accept those who would steer politics in directions that we believe are unhealthy? How do we accept their successes without abdicating our role of participation? How would you guys square this circle? Thanks.

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
Thank you very much for these podcasts! I've been "away" for a while now, and it's wonderful catching up by listening to you all on my trip to work everyday.

I just finished episode 18 and had a follow-up question regarding tuning and staying focused on the creator. You mentioned a few tips you use while in the office, and I wonder if you have any others to share? (Funny enough I've also been using a similar "auto reminder" for a while now, but it sure is easy to ignore!  Smile

A second question: does anyone have tips on how to introduce the LOO to children or generally live in accordance with the LOO while trying to raise younglings (discipline, free will, health, learning, etc., etc.)

Thanks again for your committed service... much love to you all!

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
This might be a bit blunt.

Could Q'uo or whoever feels they've the best service to offer in answering this question do so?

The question is simple regarding 'Free Will Infringement' in relation to a generic encounter of a type of traumatic occurrence.

The question:
Its said there are no mistakes, but I've read material in Near Death Experiences that suggests mistakes can happen in the literal format of not truly meaning to do such an action unconsciously despite its occurring consciously. In a generic instance of say, malevolent rape or murder, how could I possibly attempt to balance these events with compassionate understanding? Is there clear 'infringement' of Free Will at a Third Density Level that can be balanced? I guess I'm really trying to find out if Free Will Infringement is a serious occurrence that happens or if 'no mistakes' is just how it is. I ask due to a large number of people who reject the entire spiritual system's they at first enjoyed when they come across the phrase 'All is Well' in relation to murder, rape, and torture to name a few generic occurrences.

_______
Also! I wonder if the Confederation ever has any questions for us. If its possible to answer any curiosities they have of us. I mention so since Ra seemed uninformed on the depth of available experiences there are to us on Earth (somehow). I wonder if they, the Confederacy, had a means to, would they question us out of curiosity?

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
Please discuss the relationship between professional vocation and living in accordance with the Law of One. Most of the basic assumptions of our society's economy assume pursuing narrow self interest benefits the whole. This seems to have made much of our economy geared towards STS. Please discuss ways we can build an economy based on STO principles, which serve the whole.

With Immortalis' permission,  I would like to piggyback onto his question and ask if it could possibly segue into the congruency between capitalism in general and the Law of One.

Would there be a preferred economic plan such as socialism,  communism,  etc?

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
I've got a few I've been sitting on.  These are less questions than just topics I'd like to hear discussed by my three homies.  Feel free not to use them--some of them were just things I jotted down while reading philosophy.

1. How does the experience of intoxication from alcohol or drugs change our spiritual experience? Since we often make different decisions, think different thoughts, and act in different ways when chemicals affect different states of mind, how should we relate to it?  Does it bring out who we really are, or is that not us?  Who are we if things so mundane can alter ourselves with such consequence?

2. How do we recognize when we are doing work on ourselves?  Since we can't expect any clear, obvious consequence of this work, is there something we can say about what its experience entails?

3. I recognize the need to open my heart. Can you talk about this process and how I can participate more consciously in it?

4. Does the Confederation have a visual symbol that represents it?  Moreover, can you comment on the Confederation's nature, and why it's important to speak of it using such seemingly concrete political terms?

5. I seem to have a lot of anxiety around being overwhelmed, feeling things are happening too fast or that I cannot think because of so many distractions, demands, etc. Is there anything you could say from a Law of One perspective that would help?

6. Do those of Ra have anything to say about the nature of causation?  If all is one, then in what sense do discrete events exist that cause other events?  What does all this say about our agency, both in this world and spiritually?

7. What is the spiritual significance of the computer at this point in our history?

8. Please consider having Stephen Tyman make a guest appearance on the podcast!

Thanks guys, love y'all.

Hi AmariPaul,

Thanks for the query. This thread is meant to be a place to submit questions for us to discuss on the In the Now, and isn't really for posing questions to Q'uo.

The questions you are asking are much better suited for a private channeling session, which unfortunately, Jim is not offering at the moment. When the channeling circle gathers, we typically prefer to ask spiritually oriented questions that will apply to a broader audience, and not focus on questions which may benefit only a single questioner. I am sorry that we can't help you further.

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
can you apply metaphysics, quantum physics and the Law of One to basketball. i do not know if you have ever played but there such a passion that i have. its like you spill your heart into this beautiful work of art. I would like to know if it is possible to be STO in a basketball game or at least be able to play efficiently with you green ray open. I know the game can probably be a mixture of STO and STS but what i really want to know is what advantage would you have in having and
open heart, and the applying of meta and quantum physics, and the Law of One in playing basketball. I think in basketball there is probably a lot of usage into using the rays that are usually used in a STS entity. Thank you soooo much. I'm excited if you could answer this question. I also want to know what growth you can bring out of this so that way you may apply the examination to a wider range of audience.

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
Confederation contacts always emphasize the importance of meditation, but my understanding is that Ra, at least, did not provide any real guidance on how we should meditate. This gives us a lot of room to do many different activities under this broad rubric of meditation. Where do you think the boundaries are there? How do we recognize when we're doing meditative work as opposed to just thinking or just being still?

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
in episode 13 when they were talking about the ego i think it mean that you should work with what is called the ego. When they said that the ego had defense mechanism i kind of got an idea. what if the ego uses these defense mechanisms so that we are not in constant anxiety while we are vieled. so i think that on the path to sts the entity uses it to help than gain control over thier phyche. for example they might try to make a defense mechanism that influences the entitys phyce to not feel compassion. for examplw the sto path may be honest and work with the ego to influence thier phyce to be in more acceptance and love of thier reality. it makes sense to me because when they were saying that the 4th desinty entity energizes something that may not be so honest and if the enitity has a bias towards not seeing the expieriance as dishonest then the defense mechanism or the so called ego steps in to energize that expieriance even more. I can give you an example in this post, in the last sentance i almost did not want to use the word ego because it felt as if calling something that would do that would be unfair. but i still wrote because i wanted to serve people by maybe giving an example so that they may further understand what im trying to say. nameste

From my own perspective. You need to enter a trance state, where your body is asleep but your mind is fully awake. Thus you gain access to your sub-consciousness and the possibilities are limitless.

How do you get through a period of emotional agony and stagnation that doesn't seem to end even though years have passed?

I think it depends on what you want to do. I'm trying to become an adpet and a crytsalized being or maybe rise my kundilia which im not sure is the resault of becoming an adept. I think that when you become an adept and a crytalized being life is more balance and easful. of course we still have to go through more densitys but for me becoming an adept and crystalized would be a great acomplishment and the next step for more growth to come. I kind of think that at the level were on becoming an adept and a crystalized being is the in a way ultimate goal or step in our current lvel of evoulution. So far what ive seen in the Law of One is that the excersises ra was trying to tell us was is leading us to one step in this evolution that we are going through. theres a lot more to realize when it comes to evolutions cause we are in 3d or going into 4d or 5d ive heard lots of things but i think were still in 3d. but yet i still have waaaay more to relize when it comes down to a lot of these topics. But i feel one of the things ra was trying to assist us with is becoming an adpet.

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
thank yo soo much for awnsering my basketball question. I just wanted to comment on when you said that you can see the person as more of a friend. You know how ra said when theres green ray there is a mutually streghting energy transfer. If you are playing with a being that has his heart open then nothing will be lost and you can play to enjoy each other. I heard that ra said something about an adept wanting to be in joy with another self. But what if someone doesnt have their green ray open? I feel that if the person is seeking vitality over another than you can polorize very positively and increase your polorization by contintuing to see the person as the creator, while protecting yourself. Ra said that something about focusing on the creator and appreciating every moment is good enough protection. Thank you soo much and i appreciate that you awnsered my question. Will you guys follow up for me and tell me briefly that you heard of what i said. I not asking for u guys to do the subject again but it would be nice to have know if guys think this is good. thanks.the session is 32 fraqment 19, session 31

RE: Submitting Questions to "In the Now"
1. Sincerity and honesty in seeking appear to be powerful forces in the world of the metaphysical, and they strike me as positively required qualities on the seeker’s path. These are such personal matters, though. Are there ways we can concretely enhance our sincerity and honesty of seeking, or at least get a better understanding of what holds us back?

2. Desire seems to be the engine of the spiritual path, but it’s often difficult to understand because of how deeply buried it is for most of us in waking life. How can we better understand our true desire? In what ways can we purify and focus our desire so that what we want consciously is in line with our unconscious and preincarnative desires?

Jeremy
