Hi
First, sorry for my English mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker, but I try do write it the best as I can.

I'm not a "Wanderer", but I began to read the Law of One books a year ago. I discovered the material in a delicate period of my life, where I was not very well and questioning myself a lot about the meaning of Life and the real purpose of all of this insanity, as Ra said. Then I thought about the "Law of One", I don't know why I thought about it in that particular moment, all I knew was that Cayce's lectures on people past lives in Atlantis did mention a group named "Children of the Law of One", and this always intrigued me a lot, even if I read those lectures many many years ago. So I simply googled "Law of One" and this opened a door, and what a door was this. At first, when I saw the pictures of Carla, Don and Jim, I remembered I already found the material before, but it looked too "New Age" for my taste, at that time, so I did not even read the first session.

But this time, I read it, and then sessions 2, 3, and so on. I was completely blown away, and this totally changed my state of mind of the moment. I was well again, but not only that, I understood the Oneness concept, completely, and for a week or so, I was in a total peace of mind, to a point that close people around me noticed it. Ok, it didn't lasted long but in the end, it completely changed my own way of thinking.

Then, weeks after that, I began to question the reality of the channel. Even to this day, I still have some doubts about it, even if I think it may contain parts of the Truth. Not only are there some flaws and inconsistencies in the material, but there are some things I can't deal with at all (all the sessions on Tarot, for example, it took me a very long time to finish book 4, the most boring of all in my point of view). Anyway, I will discuss about all of this, later, in other forum threads. To this day, I have read book 1 to 4 and most part of book 5.

On myself, what can I say else. Since childhood, I was always interested in the Universe, in planets, stars, pulsars, galaxies, galaxy clusters, black holes, and so on. And also, by extraterrestrial life, because I was lucky to have a very open minded father who explained to me at a fairly young age that he was certain that life existed elsewhere in the Universe. Though I had a rational and atheist education, and though I never believed in any God, I was always attracted by things related to paranormal and ufology. Actually, I saw a UFO at the age of 11 or 12, and many years later, when the Internet arrived, I read similar descriptions of the "thing" I saw made by other people (in my memories, it was a yellow/orange ball flying with a somewhat strange motion, pretty quickly, and leaving some kinds of red/orange waves behind it). On another side, I did admit the reality of past lives at some point, and am completely convinced that we reincarnate some time(/space hehe) after death. On Atlantis, I don't really know what to believe. My rational mind tells me it was a story invented by Plato, as almost all modern scholars say, but I'm not entirely skeptical about its former existence. On Ancient Egypt and the pyramids, I think there are lot of inconsistencies in the official theories, but I will discuss about this in another thread. Also, I was somewhat interested in theosophical writings at some point, but it was also too New Age to my taste. But after all, Blavatsky is the one who launched the New Age movement, so not surprising. On Astrology, I don't really believe in it, but again, I have doubts, because I had a friend who was an astrologer and who said some things on me, a long time ago, that she couldn't really know. On the Law of One, well, I do, now, firmly believe in the essence of Oneness. Even science proves it: biology tells us that all life on Earth began with one cell, cosmology tells us that the Universe began in one point/event, event/point (space/time, time/space), called the Big Bang. So here I am, to learn/teach, teach/learn (in my own language, the same word can be used for both).

RE: Hi
Welcome Balyak. Very interesting story. Smile

Staying openminded is indeed a great way to progress. For instance, you don't have to "believe" in astrology to see there is some significance, which may be outside of 3D perception.

RE: Hi
Welcome! It's always interesting how one comes to the Law of One. My only advice is to continue to follow the path of resonance! It will lead you exactly where you need to go and to what you need at the moment.
Book 4 on the Tarot is a difficult subject. It's not an easy study. If it doesn't resonate with you, Ra had also offered other avenues of study: Qabalah and astrology. It's your choice. Find what works for you. Everyone's path is unique.

We are here with you at bring4th on the path of seeking. Welcome friend and enjoy it here Smile
