The property was just over 1 mile away from even any paved road, on a dirt road. It is an undeveloped part of the country, very little city life within about a 100 - 150 mile perimeter from the property. On a clear night, you can, almost literally, see forever into the stars. It is an excellent place to meditate.
I understand what you mean, Ruth! In the movie, Forrest Gump, some of the visuals of the American landscape took my breath away! The beauty of the raw American land is simply majestic.
And the fact that you enjoy much open space there makes it very easy to peer into the stars. Guess you are continuing the famed star traditions of your sacred ancestors, such as the Hopis, etc.
