Any particular reason as to why, if you can share, Ruth?
My husband and I just celebrated our 23rd year together. We were playing "what if". You know like: what if I hadn't taken his photo the day we met. Or what if the florist hadn't stuck those two roses into the potted plant he had delivered to me after he stood me up for our first date. We moved into more "what ifs" - like what if my sister hadn't died so young, or if his parents hadn't been killed in a car accident, or . . . . you know. Then we started talking about alternate time lines and how all of these scenarios are being enacted in a different timeline and how occasionally we get a glimpse of them. Perhaps by sitting and playing "what if."
Very interesting. Thanks for sharing, Ruth. Congratulations on your anniversary, as well!
