If I am a parent of a beautiful adolescent girl, is it wrong to agonisingly fear for her safety? Of course, it could turn me into a control freak, which would then prove harmful for the individuality of my daughter. The balancing line is thin and dicey. The fall is perilous and the heights are dizzy.
