Challenge? I'd liken it more to a simple dialectic between two higher dimensional beings of contrasting polarities. I'm sure not only would you, Carla and everyone present would learn a great deal, but it'd give these two higher dimensional entities the chance to discuss/debate if they haven't already met. There'd be furthering of wisdom on levels completely unbeknownst to you in dimensions unseen. We'd get to bear witness to a very advanced comprehensive discussion on light vs. dark.

Let's all just forget that idea ever got mentioned, okay? Aside from the fact that my public channeling skills are awful (I speak veeeeery slowly), I'm trying to break the habit of upsetting every apple cart I come across. They'll be putting me at the kiddie table with Monkey.

For those of you who haven't been to Homecoming, it's worth attending just to meet Ahktu and Ankh. And as for Detention Centers for Class Clowns, I have a bunch of 2" X 2" sharpened 6' oak stakes, and I can probably get a few yards of chicken wire down at the local farm supply store.

Last year we broke out in a sporadic hug-a-thon in the middle of a talk. The guy was like "Hi, my name is _____. Oh, everyone just come on and hug each other! You know you want to!" And irrational exuberance ensued until it was time for dinner. I don't think you have to worry.

    Thank you, Eddie! Heart

And for those of you who haven't attended Homecoming before, it's worth it, just to meet *Eddie*! I'll tell a little story here. It was Friday morning I believe, and I was sitting at the kitchen counter, eating breakfast, when Eddie walked into the kitchen. Now, you should meet Eddie! He is tall, talking with Texas (or Southern) accent, and has quite a powerful voice! So he walked up to my friend, as I was sitting aside, and asked with his powerful vioce: "Hi! I am Eddie! Are you ANKH??" Woaw! I got really scared as I thought that I now would be scoled for writing something stupid on the forum. I raised my hand and almost whispered: "I am Ankh." But it turned out that Eddie was the most beautiful, radiant person, like everyone else there!

I was so worried before, because as many here, I don't find it comfortable to be in bigger social groups. And people were talking about it that it was like meeting the family. But being a sceptic I didn't believe it, and thought that perhaps it was so for them, but it doesn't mean that it would like that for me. Like many here, I've been feeling that I didn't quite fit in, that I was different. Well, what happened at Homecoming was like meeting the family!

Can't wait to see you all again!

    Dear forums,

We're just a couple of weeks away from announcing and opening registration for L/L Research's annual Homecoming Gathering. Typically Homecoming is constructed during the course of a brainstorming session wherein Carla and I sit down and say, "How about we do this ___? Or we could do that ____? But let's definitely cancel Karaoke night - too many people singing Journey last year."

Given Carla's current limitations, we'll likely return to the same format we used last year where each attendee has the opportunity (which they can decline) to bring something of their own to the table. See last year's curriculum.

This a beautiful arrangement that makes it a truly participant-created event. The pot luck format keeps the energy alive and moving, and helps form bonds of connection when each is given the opportunity to share themselves with an open-hearted circle of seeking.

Before doing so however we thought we might tap the creativity of the Bring4th community to see if anyone had ideas regarding what they would like to see in a Law of One-oriented gathering.

Besides other sources of channeling, any thoughts?

I mean, it is our very last few months in third density, so we should at least get some ice cream cake. Wink

We should all do a big group healing for Carla, I think that would be rad. I'm a Reiki Master so I'm always open to including healing sessions and whatnot.

I like the idea to have people do their own thing as a presentation, I think I have an idea of what I would want to do.

anyone here flying international to attend?

I know Ankh is, but the cost for me is going to be out of reach.

basically a minimum of ~$1800 for just the flights.

not a complaint, but that's just where things are at.

I guess I could always start swimming ... and I might get there in time for August. Tongue

I read all these conspiracy theories and I am convinced 9/11 was an inside job, I bet they already have a "Meerie file"

PM, letter, email, thought message -- all of the above work. As to UPS delivery persons, I am sorry Ankh, but I do not see distortions of the physical complex known to you as hotness, nor do I see gender specifications. I see only the One Creator...

    Wink

Plenum I wish I knew of a less expensive way to get you here. It may sound silly but if you had the time, is it possible to hitch a ride on a cargo ship?

Meerie, just tell the friendly agents that you are attending an event focused on material from invisible higher-density beings. That should clear things up and assist your release. : )

Adam won't be speaking at homecoming, but we are going to try to have a session at my place, probably immediately before or after the dates of homecoming, while all the group members are here in the flesh. If you want to tag along and come watch, Meerie, you're welcome to...also any anyone else who wants to come, though our apartment is hella tiny and if we get more than 5 people everyone will be sitting on the floor.

Geez, after last year's speech I've run dry. I can't think of a single thing to talk about. Tongue Oh well, I'm sure I'll come up with something by August

I can't wait to see everyone! BigSmile
Also Meerie, don't wear lotion before your flight! The last time I flew my lotion set off those body scanners because it had glycerine in it, and I got whisked into a back room and patted down by security guards. Though they also may have rigged it because I was wearing a shirt with the Grim Reaper on it and had New Age stickers on my briefcase.

Pssst, Meerie! Don't forget to tell the friendly agents that these beings evolved on planet Venus 2,6 billions of years ago. That would really clear all things up and settle your release. BigSmile

Lol Ankh... surely. I could prepare a couple of handouts from Ra sessions for the agents, to make sure they understand what I am talking about BigSmile
I just checked, my lotion contains indeed glycerine!!!
however I found a way to prevent the scanners from beeping - if you step inside really slowly and wait until they wave you out, I was okay.
The first times I was too fast and each time they beeped, despite me not having any metals on me.
Akhtu, it must have been the grim reaper T-shirt, I guess. Might be better if I abstain from wearing the "9/11 was an inside job" T-shirt on the flight, then

I agree with GLB. If we are indeed so close to the end of 3rd density... It would be really nice if SOMEONE let us borrow a ship to pick everyone up in. I mean... How much could it really hurt? It's not like anyone's free will would be abridged that would be hitching a ride since we all seem to know "whats up". And think of all the money saved on plane tickets! AngelTongue

Mod Edit: A discussion involving... shall we say, alternate means to travel to Homecoming was split off from this thread and relocated here.

If anyone is planning on arriving a little early or staying a little late and just wants to chill around town, let me know. There are a few neat places in Louisville. Especially let me know if anyone is interested in dressing up like a zombie and running around in the streets like a crazy person, because I'm pretty sure our town's ZOMBIE WALK happens shortly after Homecoming, and my husband has sworn to participate this year.
Hm. Looks like it's on August 29th, so if you get into town REAL early...lol.

I'll probably be looking to stay in the US this autumn for an extended period of several weeks to about a month. I would prefer a "home" and not a "place" to stay at for my duration. Will cover all costs of my stay if i decide to do it like that, volunteers for this horrific duty accepted here!
