    I would not claim to be smarter than you but offer this as my insight.
    When light/energy goes beyond light speed it appears black.
    Thus any higher density instreamings that enter or exit the poles or sunspots would be FLS.
    This could also be the reason why 'space' appears black. We can't see it because it is beyond the range of our perception, not because it's 'empty'.
    There are also the stories of '3 days of darkness' etc reportedly at the end of certain cycles. Perhaps this is a transitional stage of the star involving an influx of light from the next octave.
    What I recall about my space travels is that 'space' is actually quite full.

    When I first read this I thought it said cornhole. As in beavis and butthead's "I am the great cornholio. I need tp for my bunghole."

    I have seen many coronal holes which are quite common; this one looks unique... Not sure what to make of it though.
