I was walking home from work and was thinking about how I don't really desire much in a future sense for my life as I have faith the pieces will fall into place when they are ready. I then thought I know I could put my will and intention on say finding a job in illustration and it will be more likely to manifest. So I wonder where is the balance in having faith your life will provide exactly what you need. Or thinking for example I have faith I will get this job but I will still use my will and intention to bring it my life?

I thought it was interesting point perhaps someone can clear it up for me a bit.

Sometimes the belief that "all is well" and "i will be provided for", is better than actively trying to manifest a desired outcome. To set a specific intention is a double edged sword which balances getting what you want with the possibility of infringing on natural processes. A good example of this is when a green-ray healing become a yellow-ray transfer due to the involvement of the will.

Set your intentions as high as you please. Put as much love into them as you can but also love the alternatives, the potential of your wishes not being met.

For this is not a fight between Faith Vs. Intention: They are both the same; the former is of the spirit, the latter is of the mind. Intention manifests, faith manifests towards unity.

This is merely a decision between loving all possibilities or not. We can love all possibilities and still have a preference while being at peace.

A lot of our desires are unconscious in nature. Most of them, in fact. From my perspective, the difference between "desire" and "will" is simply that will is "conscious desire". Everything happens because of will/desire. It is the exploration/curiosity of intelligent infinity, which manifests as the experience of all things. I feel like i should clarify furthermore that its not a binary situation where it is either conscious or unconscious, as what constitutes "conscious" at our level is different than what constitutes "conscious" at another level. 1st density desires are conscious for that density, but unconscious for second density, and so on. Whatever vibrational density one inhabits determines what constitutes its "conscious" desire.

Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that even if your desires are not consciously acknowledged, you still have them. Every time you experienced something you didn't like, a vibrational preference radiated from you and became part of your overall violet ray vibration. That is the automatic vibrational response to contrast (or "catalyst" if you prefer), and every point of consciousness experiences this from rocks and amoebas to humans and other higher lifeforms. Exposure to life causes us to ask for improved states of being, and source answers these requests by lighting up the pathway to them.

We, as incarnate beings, are collections of "preferences". Every time you experience that which you do not want, you become equally clarified as to the nature of what you DO want. Your Higher Self rides these signals of radiated preferences to their "probable conclusion". Remember, in time/space you don't have to wait for the linear sequence of events to play out. So "future you" follows your preferences, or desires, be they conscious or unconscious, and calls to you from that new and improved place of well being. We perceive this "calling" as "emotion". So by following your bliss, as Joseph Campbell has suggested, you really can find your perfect life if you do this in a dedicated manner. On the other side of the coin, if you follow your misery (negative emotional feedback) you will find the exact opposite of what you want. There is always the other side of the wave.

The next question is, what role does faith and intention play in all this?

Make no mistake: you are always creating your own reality. 24/7. Everything that is happening in your life is a vibrational indicator what you have going on inside of you. As you can see just by looking at what is going on in a very sizable portion of Earth's population, many people are offering vibrations they do not realize they are offering, and are manifesting circumstances into their life which are, shall we say, less than desirable Wink.

You create your reality by attention. All realities come into existence because consciousness imagines or focuses them into existence. A focus is the same as thinking. It's placing your attention on something. When that vibration becomes more refined, more consistent, and offered unconsciously by default, it becomes something approaching "belief" or "faith". Your preferences, or desires, equal your "intention" or "will" when they become consciously acknowledged. If I had to split hairs, I would make the same distinction between "belief" and "faith" as I do between "desire" and "will". One is the more unconscious version, the other is the more conscious version.

So to go back to the original question, in light of these concepts I've offered:

If the attitude you have towards life feels you with joy and appreciation, it can only mean one thing: your attention is predominately on that which life has caused you to ask for. In other words, you are headed towards well being. If you were focused on the absence of what you wanted out of life, you would feel miserable.

The "specifics" will fill themselves in time. Just follow your bliss. This reality is all about fine tuning your desires. It is designed to do exactly that. Think of yourself as less the "doer" and more the "allower".

Intelligent infinity, which is our true nature, manifests effortlessly, due to infinite strength. When it appears otherwise, and requires "effort", its not because of a problem on the intelligent infinity end, i assure you. It means we are resisting the flow of intelligent energy. You learn to allow this flow, by paying attention to how your thoughts affect your emotional state. That is the "real work" -- learning not to resist the natural flow of energy which is always manifesting that which you desire.

Well, I like sleeping because I've had trouble sleeping ever since I was born. Plus, I'm always tired. I enjoy talking to Ashim because I feel like I don't have to explain everything and I never feel judged.

-it doesn't mean I don't enjoy talking to others as well. (I'm not always as tactful as I'd like to be) Wink
