I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 66.8:
“Questioner: I’m assuming, then, that we have a wanderer with the desire attempting to learn the techniques of healing while, shall I say, trapped in third density. He then, it seems to me, is primarily concerned with the balancing and unblocking of energy centers. Am I correct in this assumption?
Ra: I am Ra. This is correct. Only insofar as the healer has become balanced may it be a channel for the balancing of an other-self. The healing is first practiced upon the self, if we may say this in another way.”
So far in this session Don has been focused on how the healer works as a healer. In this question he asked Ra if the primary concern of the healer would be to unblock and then balance its energy centers. Ra agreed and further suggested that any healing that a healer will ever be able to do is because the healer has first healed itself. That is another way of putting the old saying, “Physician, heal thyself.” Actually, this is a proverb from the Holy Bible:
From the Bible: “Luke 4:23 (King James Version) And he said unto them Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.”
In 5.2 Ra gave general information as to how the balancing process is used to unblock and balance the energy centers:
To begin to master the concept of mental discipline it is necessary to examine the self. The polarity of your dimension must be internalized. Where you find patience within your mind you must consciously find the corresponding impatience and vice versa. Each thought that a being has, has in its turn an antithesis. The disciplines of the mind involve, first of all, identifying both those things of which you approve and those things of which you disapprove within yourself, and then balancing each and every positive and negative charge with its equal. The mind contains all things. Therefore, you must discover this completeness within yourself.
The second mental discipline is acceptance of the completeness within your consciousness. It is not for a being of polarity in the physical consciousness to pick and choose among attributes, thus building the roles that cause blockages and confusions in the already-distorted mind complex. Each acceptance smooths part of the many distortions that the faculty you call judgment engenders.
The third discipline of the mind is a repetition of the first but with the gaze outward towards the fellow entities that it meets. In each entity there exists completeness. Thus, the ability to understand each balance is necessary. When you view patience, you are responsible for mirroring in your mental understanding patience/impatience. When you view impatience, it is necessary for your mental configuration of understanding to be impatience/patience. We use this as a simple example. Most configurations of mind have many facets, and understanding of either self polarities, or what you would call other-self polarities, can and must be understood as subtle work.
The next step is the acceptance of the other-self polarities, which mirrors the second step.
Our daily round of catalyst that would be the focus of this balancing process comes from the bias that our unconscious mind puts on the events that become our catalyst. This bias is a reflection of pre-incarnative choices that are related to the various energy centers, so if a person uses the balancing process daily those energy centers that need unblocking and balancing will naturally come into play on a daily basis. Ra alluded to this process in 94.11:
Questioner: I have drawn a small diagram in which I simply show an arrow which represents catalyst penetrating a line at right angles to the arrow, which is the veil, and then depositing in one of two repositories: one which I would call on the right-hand path, one on the left-hand path. And I have labeled these two repositories for the catalytic action as it’s filtered through the veil “the Experience.” Would this be a very rough analogy of the way the catalyst is filtered through the veil to become experience?
Ra: I am Ra. Again, you are partially correct. The deeper biases of a mind/body/spirit complex pilot the catalyst around the many isles of positivity and negativity as expressed in the archipelago of the deeper mind. However, the analogy is incorrect in that it does not take into account the further polarization which most certainly is available to the conscious mind after it has perceived the partially polarized catalyst from the deeper mind.
It also must be recognized that the healer actually doesn’t do the healing as Ra stated in 66.10:
Questioner: What is the difference, philosophically, between a mind/body/spirit complex healing itself through mental, shall I say, configuration or it being healed by an healer?
Ra: I am Ra. You have a misconception. The healer does not heal. The crystallized healer is a channel for intelligent energy which offers an opportunity to an entity that it might heal itself.
In no case is there an other description of healing. Therefore, there is no difference as long as the healer never approaches one whose request for aid has not come to it previously. This is also true of the more conventional healers of your culture, and if these healers could but fully realize that they are responsible only for offering the opportunity of healing, and not for the healing, many of these entities would feel an enormous load of misconceived responsibility fall from them.
This morning I decided to do the yard work first, so I got my backpack blower and blew the leaves in the front and side yards into position to crunch them into leaf dust with my big mower. My neighbor asked if I could do the same with the leaves under his tree in the front yard because they were embedded in the pachysandra ground cover, and his blower couldn’t get them out. This took all two hours of my morning work time, so I ran a couple of errands for my afternoon work.
My first stop this afternoon was my eye doctor’s office to get one of the two little nose pieces replaced that had fallen off its perch and was lost. Then I stopped in at Walgreen’s Drug Store to pick up my first prescriptions after switching to Walgreen’s from CVS, which is having staffing problems and can’t always deliver prescriptions on time.
From A Book of Days, channeled by Carla L. Rueckert:
Rise Up Today
I am the spirit of the consciousness of love in the vibration which comforts this instrument. I greet you in the name of that love and in the Christhood that is the birthright of all.
I ask those of you with stubborn and resilient hearts to rise up, not only this day but every day, realizing the morning of your strength, the noon of your eagerness, the evening of your peace and the nighttime of your content, dwelling in the house of the Lord.
I ask you to rise up and become citizens of the kingdom for which you yearn, that you may transform each perception of the mundane that comes before you into that of the heavenly. For this you must gird your loins and put on the battle armor of a caring and redemptive warrior.
May you go forth to wage peace everlasting. Amen.
I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:
We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light, and healing energies of the One Infinite Creator heal the heart of each soul in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energies in their hearts, in their minds, and in their souls. Amen.
