I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the Ra quote comes from 103.7-.9:
“Questioner: Can Ra recommend anything that the instrument can do, or that we can do, to improve any of the energies of the instrument?
Ra: I am Ra. This is previously covered material. We have outlined the path the instrument may take in thought.
Questioner: I didn’t mean to cover previously covered material. I meant to add any of this to specifically focus on at this time, the best possible thing that we or the instrument could do to improve these energies, the salient activity.
Ra: I am Ra. Before responding we ask your vigilance during pain flares as the channel is acceptable but is being distorted periodically by the severe physical distortions of the yellow-ray, chemical body of the instrument.
Those salient items for the support group are praise and thanksgiving in harmony. These the group has accomplished with such a degree of acceptability that we cavil not at the harmony of the group.
As to the instrument, the journey from worth in action to worth in esse is arduous. The entity has denied itself in order to be free from that which it calls addiction. This sort of martyrdom, and here we speak of the small but symbolically great sacrifice of the clothing, causes the entity to frame a selfhood in poorness which feeds unworthiness unless the poverty is seen to be true richness. In other words, good works for the wrong reasons cause confusion and distortion. We encourage the instrument to value itself and to see that its true requirements are valued by the self. We suggest contemplation of true richness of being.
Questioner: Is there anything else that either we or the instrument can do that would specifically work on the vital energy to increase it of the instrument?
Ra: I am Ra. We have come up against the full stop of free will.”
In the first question Don asked Ra how we could improve Carla’s energy, and Ra responded by saying that they had already answered this question. In 102.2, Ra gave the general outline of Carla’s problem and its solution:
Questioner: Will Ra please tell us what caused the pain and cramping in the instrument’s stomach, and what could be done to heal it?
Ra: In order to observe the cause of physical distortions toward illness one must look to the energy center which is blocked. In this situation, the blockage being yellow-ray, the experience has had the characteristics of that region of the chemical body. The so-called lacuna in the wind-written armor of light and love was closed and not only repaired but much improved. However, the distortions energized during this momentary lapse from free energy flow are serious and shall be continuing for, in all possibility/probability vortices, some of your space/time, for a predisposition to spasticity in the transverse colon has been energized. There is also pre-existing weakness in pancreatic function, especially that linked with the hypothalamus. There is also the pre-existing damage to portions of the liver. These lacks or distortions manifest in that portion of the system directly proceeding from the jejunum. Further, there is some irritation closer to the duodenum which causes the instrument to fail in assimilating foodstuffs. This is an allopathically caused irritation.
The diet is of central import. We can go no further in observing the system of the entity as a full discussion of those distortions towards various weakness/strengths which contribute to the present difficulty begin with the lips and end with the anus. We may note that the instrument has remained centered upon the Creator at a percentage exceeding ninety. This is the key. Continue in thanksgiving and gratitude for all things.
Carla was having these yellow-ray blockage problems that manifested in her G.I. tract because I had asked her for an open relationship, and she was briefly upset but was able to return to harmony quickly. However, our negative friend used this target of opportunity to intensify Carla’s pain. In 102.11, Ra gave the basic principle of healing that applied to Carla’s situation:
Questioner: Now, is there— the two areas then that the instrument can look to for curing this problem… I understand that the yellow-ray blockage problem has completely repaired, shall I say. If this is not correct, could you make suggestions on that, please?
Ra: I am Ra. Each entity must, in order to completely unblock yellow ray, love all which are in relationship to it, with hope only of the other-selves’ joy, peace, and comfort.
In his second question Don asked Ra to give any further information on what we could do to aid Carla. Then Ra gave an analogy of how Carla’s indigo-ray blockage of feeling unworthy had manifested in her becoming a martyr when she decided to give up buying clothes for a year because she viewed it as an addiction. Ra noted that it was a long journey to find this feeling of self worth and they completed their response by saying, “We encourage the instrument to value itself and to see that its true requirements are valued by the self. We suggest contemplation of true richness of being.” I believe that the Self that Ra refers to here should be capitalized as it is very likely the higher self or even the Creator within. In 103.5, Ra recommended how Carla could remove the indigo-ray blockage of lack of self worth:
Questioner: Could Ra recommend work appropriate for removing indigo-ray blockage?
Ra: I am Ra. We cannot recommend for the general situation for in each case the distortional vortex is unique. In this particular nexus, the more appropriate working is in the mental and mental/emotional powers of analysis and observation. When the strongest and least distorted complex is set in support, then the less strong portions of the complex shall be strengthened. This entity has long worked with this catalyst. However, this is the first occasion wherein the drugs to dull the pain that sharpens the catalyst have been refused.
What I believe that Ra was suggesting was that Carla use her “mental and mental/emotional powers of analysis and observation”. I believe that Ra is suggesting that Carla take an objective look at her situation from a mental position and from an emotional position. Her mental powers of analysis might reveal to her how maintaining a state of unity was the best path to follow rather than the hurt emotional feelings she first felt when I asked for an open relationship. Then Ra continued their answer by saying that “When the strongest and least distorted complex is set in support, then the less strong portions of the complex shall be strengthened.” Here I believe that Ra was saying that if Carla focused on her strength of mental analysis in this situation then her weaker feeling of emotional pain would be strengthened. Ra completed their answer by saying that Carla had worked for a long time in her life with the feeling of being unworthy, and now that she had refused to take the drugs that would dull the pain she would need to work with this enhanced catalyst.
In his third question Don asked if there was anything else that we or Carla could do to aid her situation, and Ra simply said that they had given all the information that they could without infringing on our free will.
This morning I was on a two hour zoom meet with two long-time friends, and we spent a good deal of time catching up on what has happened since our last meeting three weeks ago. Then we read some from Living Buddha, Living Christ, by Tich Nhat Hanh and also The Ra Contact: Teaching the Law of One.
This afternoon I did my grocery shopping at Kroger’s and at Paul’s Fruit Market. Then I went back to The Home Depot and bought another six cone flowers which I transplanted in the ruins mound. The cone flowers come in yellow, lavender, orange, red, and white, so they are very attractive when seen together. My last job was to move two of the solar-powered lanterns in Dana’s Crystal Corner to get them more evenly spaced in the triangular shape that the form. The peak of the triangle is about 20 feet in the air and the base of the pyramid is about 50 feet wide, so it makes a very impressive image of glowing lights at night,

Contentment
I am the principle of that force behind creation, the love of Jesus the Christ. I greet you in the full consciousness which is the consciousness of love.
This instrument is not prepared for what we are to say this morning. For this instrument thought we were speaking upon the subject of contentment. No matter how active the mind of mankind, the spirit is ever more active in its capacity to surprise, for we speak of a higher contentment, the contentment of vulnerability and seeming lack; the contentment of babes unclothed and people hungry; the contentment that becomes a fire within to clothe the naked and feed the hungry; that contentment which makes all creatures children of a meaningful and life-giving God and all God’s creatures meaningful and life-giving people.
Look in contentment at the world of strife and need and respond with a full heart, praying ever the invitation to the spirit of the living Christ to enter into every seeming lack, in meditation, and multiply plenty. Your consciousness is a gift and a responsibility. May you be content to love others as you love yourself.
