I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the quote from 102 comes from Chapter Two and the section on the Service to Self path:
The Service-to-Self Path
The description of polarity as service to self and service to others, from the beginning of our creation, dwelt within the architecture of the primal Logos. Before the veiling process the impact of actions taken by mind/body/spirits upon their consciousnesses was not palpable to a significant enough degree to allow the expression of this polarity to be significantly useful. Over the period of what you would call time this expression of polarity did, indeed, work to alter the biases of mind/body/spirits so that they might eventually be harvested. The veiling process made the polarity far more effective. Ra, 93.5
In our studies with Ra, we discovered that the basis for the service-to-others and the service-to-self paths was inlaid by our Primal Logos at the very beginning of the creation. It is an interesting thought that both polarities are inherent in the framework of the universe because it suggests that there was a grand overview of the upcoming experience of the Creator by Its infinite portions of Itself. It seems that this plan was set in place in case it was needed by the evolving third-density entities that existed before the veil of forgetting was implemented. It would seem that the means of inventing a way to manifest it would be the part of the puzzle that was left to the various Logoi by the Primal Logos.
Ever since that moment long ago when the veil descended upon the third density experience, we in third density have lived in a world of apparent separation. Ra mentioned that animals, who are second-density beings, do not have a veil. They see themselves as part of their group, and they serve that “group-self “in a way that cannot be considered negative. Likewise, entities who are new to third density still possess some of this “innocence”, or natural tribal thinking. Ra explained that the veil eventually produces a sense of individual self, and therefore, a sense of other-self—or “not me”–, which leads to choices that can be considered polarized.
19.15 The second-density concept of serving self includes the serving of those associated with tribe or pack. This is not seen in second density as separation of self and other-self. All is seen as self since in some forms of second-density entities, if the tribe or pack becomes weakened, so does the entity within the tribe or pack.
The new or initial third-density entity has this innocent, shall we say, bias or distortion towards viewing those in the family, the society, as you would call, perhaps, country, as self. Thus though a distortion not helpful for progress in third density, it is without polarity.
The break becomes apparent when the entity perceives other-selves as other-selves and consciously determines to manipulate other-selves for the benefit of the self. This is the beginning of the road of which you speak.
So, a newly-minted third-density being still thinks a bit like an animal, but only due to not yet fully realizing its individuality, since the animal will see other members of its tribe or pack as itself. This instinctual point of view will dictate behaviors that reflect a kind of service to “self” that is not of a polarizing nature.
Apparently this type of behavior of second-density animals can be carried over into third density when the animals have accumulated enough self-consciousness to activate the spirit complex and graduate into the third density. Then this behavior will still not have any polarizing effect or benefit in the third-density experience. It is only when the new third-density entity sees other selves as different from the self and attempts to control these other selves for the benefit of the self that the beginning of the service-to-self road begins.
19.16 Questioner: Then, through free will, sometime in the third-density experience, the path splits and an entity consciously— probably does not consciously choose. Does an entity consciously choose this path at the initial splitting point?
Ra: I am Ra. We speak in generalities which is dangerous for always inaccurate. However, we realize you look for the overview; so we will eliminate anomalies and speak of majorities.
The majority of third-density beings is far along the chosen path before realization of that path is conscious.
This early tendency to behave in service to the self that began innocently and without polarity can eventually turn into the service-to-self path when the new third-density entity consciously seeks to control other selves. This slow evolution of third-density consciousness is apparently unconscious for some time before it becomes a consciously realized and persistent path for the new third-density entity. I would imagine that the efficiency of this path would increase with time.
The more conscious one on the service-to-self path becomes in separating the self from others and in controlling other selves, the more polarity and power it gains. Among those who are subjected to this control and manipulation, there are various choices to be made. While some entities seek to free themselves from this treatment, even attempting to open their hearts and to refrain from engaging in negative behavior for their own protection, others feel that this service-to-self behavior is fitting. Therefore, some accept being manipulated and choose to learn how to get better at doing the same. They willingly participate in a hierarchy of power and control, serving their self-interested leaders as a way to gain more power for themselves. This is the structure of the negative path.
19.17 Questioner: Can you tell me what bias creates their momentum toward the chosen path of service to self?
Ra: I am Ra. We can speak only in metaphor. Some love the light. Some love the darkness. It is a matter of the unique and infinitely various Creator choosing and playing among its experiences as a child upon a picnic. Some enjoy the picnic and find the sun beautiful, the food delicious, the games refreshing, and glow with the joy of creation. Some find the night delicious, their picnic being pain, difficulty, sufferings of others, and the examination of the perversities of nature. These enjoy a different picnic.
All these experiences are available. It is free will of each entity which chooses the form of play, the form of pleasure.
In the above quote Ra shed some light on the basic qualities that might contribute to evolution of consciousness within the early third-density negative entity. The negative path is now giving the Creator a whole new flavor of experiences by which It will come to know Itself. That might sound a bit macabre, but we have to remember that everything of both positive and negative natures is happening to the Creator by the Creator’s own hands, since all is the Creator. However, the true nature of the Creator as being all things is hidden within the third-density illusion by the veil of forgetting, so it may appear that there are victims and perpetrators, but there is only the Creator being expressed in an infinity of ways which are now colored by two polarities: service to others and service to self.
54.19 Questioner: In the case of service-to-self polarization, what type of catalyst would entities following this path program when they reach the level of programming their own catalyst?
Ra: I am Ra. The negatively oriented entity will program for maximal separation from and control over all those things and conscious entities which it perceives as being other than the self.
These pre-incarnative choices often include entities which program wealth in their lives, the acquisition of power, the easy life, health, and good looks on the more desirable side—which is not to say that these things cannot be features of the positive life as well; but a negatively-polarizing entity may plan for a lifetime of anger, hatred, and frustration to enhance the separation between itself and others. The newly evolving negatively-oriented entity eventually becomes conscious of the service-to-self path and begins to program future incarnations with those qualities that will promote its selfish desires in upcoming incarnations.
17.32 Questioner: What must be the entity’s percentage, shall we say, if he is to be harvested for the negative?
Ra: I am Ra. The entity who wishes to pursue the path of service to self must attain a grade of five, that is five percent service to others, ninety-five percent service to self. It must approach totality. The negative path is quite difficult to attain harvestability upon and requires great dedication.
In order to make the Harvest into the fourth density the negatively-oriented entity must be very effective in its separation from and control over others. It uses the lower three energy centers to bring others under its enslaving influence. It utilizes the red-ray chakra to achieve sexual domination to control others in personal ritual magic. It works within the orange-ray chakra to manifest its separation and control of others on a one-to-one basis. It does the same in the yellow-ray chakra as it functions within the group setting to achieve a broader expression of its power by attempting to enslave groups of people and to use groups to enslave other groups.
The negative adept refuses to open its heart because it is of the firm opinion that green-ray energy of love and compassion for others is the height of foolishness. Once this Harvest has been obtained it finds itself in the fourth density, practicing service only to the self. They are surrounded by many other negatively-oriented entities that have also been able to achieve this level of ninety-five percent service to the self. Though at times they work together to achieve their goals, this “cooperation” reflects each entity’s selfish desire to become more powerful and dominant.
38.14 Questioner: All right, I’ll just ask this one. I have here that— could you give me some idea of what conditions are like on a fourth-density negative or self-service planet? Can you do this?
Ra: I am Ra. The graduation into fourth-density negative is achieved by those beings who have consciously contacted intelligent infinity through the use of red, orange, and yellow rays of energy. Therefore, the planetary conditions of fourth-density negative include the constant alignment and realignment of entities in efforts to form the dominant patterns of combined energy.
The early fourth density is one of the most intensive struggle. When the order of authority has been established and all have fought until convinced that each is in the proper placement for power structure, the social memory complex begins. Always the fourth-density effects of telepathy and the transparency of thought are attempted to be used for the sake of those at the apex of the power structure.
This, as you may see, is often quite damaging to the further polarization of fourth-density negative entities, for the further negative polarization can only come about through group effort. As the fourth-density entities manage to combine, they then polarize through such services to self as those offered by the crusaders of Orion.
So, after our fourth-density negative graduates have made the Harvest they find themselves having to do a kind of battle of wills with a multitude of other negative graduates, all of whom wish to be the boss. Once everyone has had an opportunity to exercise their desire for power to determine just what the pecking order will be, then the group mind takes shape. This is called a social memory complex by Ra, wherein each entity has access to one another’s thoughts, memories, and experiences. Though the social memory complex also exists upon the positive path, it is used differently in negative fourth density, where each entity utilizes whatever it learns about the others to help it vie for power. This results in a constant rearranging of the pecking order.
At some point the negative social memory complex will find itself in competition for power with other negative social memory complexes so that there then forms a pecking order of social memory complexes according to the relative power of each, and a group of such social memory complexes is born. In our portion of creation, all negative entities are referred to by Ra as the Orion group, simply because the leaders of this group hail from the area of the Orion constellation.
Questioner: What is the density of the Orion group?
Ra: I am Ra. Like the Confederation, the densities of the mass consciousnesses which comprise that group are varied. There are a very few third density, a larger number of fourth density, a similarly large number of fifth density, and very few sixth-density entities comprising this organization. Their numbers are perhaps one-tenth ours at any point in the space/time continuum as the problem of spiritual entropy causes them to experience constant disintegration of their social memory complexes. Their power is the same as ours. The Law of One blinks neither at the light or the darkness, but is available for service to others and service to self. However, service to others results in service to self, thus preserving and further harmonizing the distortions of those entities seeking intelligent infinity through these disciplines.
Those seeking intelligent infinity through the use of service to self create the same amount of power but, as we said, have constant difficulty because of the concept of separation which is implicit in the manifestations of the service to self which involve power over others. This weakens and eventually disintegrates the energy collected by such mind/body/spirit complexes who call the Orion group and the social memory complexes which comprise the Orion group.
It should be noted, carefully pondered, and accepted, that the Law of One is available to any social memory complex which has decided to strive together for any seeking of purpose, be it service to others or service to self. The laws, which are the primal distortions of the Law of One, then are placed into operation and the illusion of space/time is used as a medium for the development of the results of those choices freely made. Thus all entities learn, no matter what they seek. All learn the same, some rapidly, some slowly.
The natural outgrowth of negative activities is that there would be a massive attempt to separate from and control other selves and eventually create an empire that may be ruled in a manner that gives more power to the apex of the social memory complexes which comprise the Orion group. This grouping of negative social memory complexes attempts to continue to gain more power by adding third-density planets to their ranks of the enslaved before those planets can achieve the level of a social memory complex of either the positive or the negative path.
However, it is interesting that the negative path suffers from what Ra called “spiritual entropy” that is due to the basic nature of separation. Because each entity wishes to gather power for itself—and not share it with the group—there is a continual loss of spiritual energies by the group that weakens the group. At some point this spiritual entropy will result in the negative path being abandoned as Ra mentions in the next quote.
78.25 Questioner: Then you are saying as a result of the polarization in consciousness that has occurred later in the galactic evolution, that the experiences are much more, shall I say, profound or deeper along the two paths. Are these experiences independent of the other path or must there be action across the potentiated difference between the positive and negative polarity, or is it possible to have this experience simply because of the single polarity? This is difficult to ask.
Ra: I am Ra. We would agree. We shall attempt to pluck the gist of your query from the surrounding verbiage.
The fourth and fifth densities are quite independent, the positive polarity functioning with no need of negative and vice-versa. It is to be noted that in attempting to sway third-density mind/body/spirit complexes in choosing polarity there evolves a good bit of interaction between the two polarities. In sixth density, the density of unity, the positive and negative paths must needs take in each other for all now must be seen as love/light and light/love. This is not difficult for the positive polarity, which sends love and light to all other-selves. It is difficult enough for service-to-self polarized entities that at some point the negative polarity is abandoned.
So now, having traveled the road of service-to-self long enough to see how it functions as the “path of that which is not”—that is, separation and control rather than unity and free will—what is the eventual outcome for these power-hungry souls? They have made the Harvest into the fourth density; they have joined a negatively-oriented social memory complex; they have expanded further into a super group of negative social memory complexes; and they have formed the Orion Empire. Ra suggested that this path would move through the fourth density, the fifth density, and then in the sixth density a problem develops that halts further progress.
In the sixth density the work is to balance the love and compassion of the fourth density with the wisdom of the fifth density. This blending of love and wisdom realizes and reflects the ultimate unity of all creation and all entities within the creation. When the negatively-oriented social memory complexes, and individual entities within such groupings, encounter this basic requirement that is necessary to continue progress within the sixth density, the spiritual entropy which has constantly plagued the negative path becomes the stopper to the negative progress.
The concept of unity requires that all see each entity within the creation as part of the One Self. This is not difficult for the positive path of service to others, for this path has always seen all beings as one and has always sent love and light to all beings—including those on the service-to-self path—for they are their other selves. This necessity of seeing all as One is impossible for those on the service-to-self path. As a result, in order to progress any further in unity with the One Creator the negative path must be abandoned. Then the power accumulated by the negative entities is used to switch polarities and become positively oriented.
Thusly the two paths merge and all move forward together as sixth-density beings in social memory complexes. The One Creator has become immensely enriched by all of the positively and negatively oriented entities that have given It a wealth of ways to know Itself. This would not have been possible without the two paths polarizing so effectively through the mid-sixth density. After that point all progress is made without the need to use the concept of polarity.
In 64.6 Ra summarized this type of seeking process:
We seek now without polarity. Thus we do not invoke any power from without, for our search has become internalized as we become light/love and love/light. These are the balances we seek, the balances between compassion and wisdom which more and more allow our understanding of experience to be informed that we may come closer to the unity with the One Creator which we so joyfully seek.
This morning I starting bringing in the house plants from out on the deck behind the house. I got the three biggest ones in and placed where there was room for them in the area behind the kitchen. Then I went up to The Home Depot to get a pot that will be large enough to go under the Christmas Fern that is presently hanging around the fish pond.
This afternoon I went to Baptist Hospital for my Pre-Admissions testing for the hip replacement surgery that I will have on October 24. I have severe osteoarthritis in my right hip that has been getting worse and worse over the past few years, so now I am looking forward to having the hip joint replaced and getting rid of the pain.

Heavenly Food
I am of that principle which is known as the love of Jesus the Christ and I greet you in the full consciousness of divine love.
How peculiar it must seem to have such glory in the inside experience of meditation, contemplation, praise and thanksgiving, only to find that two steps into the world and all of the strength of your faith is distorted and confused. How very disconcerting!
This is done on purpose, my children, not for your comfort but for your growth. There are various agendas for various entities; various lessons of love they wish to learn. And thus this catalyst must take place that has neither a good nor a negative connotation. It is simply that which you came here to experience and to find a way to change from nonsense poetry to the rich tapestry of heartfelt and painstaking stitchery of clear, clear colors of emotions, of love in relationships, and of self-forgiveness.
Do not allow this dark illusion to keep you from being aware of the infinite light in which you dwell. You need not say a word to another to do this work. It is simply altering a program within the mind that you may, out of habit, begin to think about the Creator.
The Comforter has been promised to you. We do not stop those things which you consider negative from happening. We are simply there to accompany you through the difficulties. Please ask for our help, for we cannot infringe. And no matter how fast you may run this day, no matter how many things you have to do, try to stay centered in the present moment where all intersects with eternity.
We leave you in the peace that is the transcendence of this illusion and in the principle of divine and unconditional love and peace, both now and ever. Amen.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts, our minds, and our souls to send love, light, and healing energies to Mother Earth as she brings forth a New Earth in fourth density.
