I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. Today the 103 quote comes from Chapter Two and the section on doctors and disease:

Doctors and disease

64.15 Questioner: Thank you. Ra mentioned the ones Stuart and Douglas in a recent session. These are members of what we call our medical profession. What is the value, overall value, shall I say, of modern medical techniques in alleviating bodily distortions with respect to the purpose for these distortions and what we might call karma and other effects?

Ra: I am Ra. This query is convoluted. However, we shall make some observations in lieu of attempting one coherent answer, for that which is allopathic among your healing practices is somewhat two-sided.

Firstly, you must see the possibility/probability that each and every allopathic healer is, in fact, an healer. Within your cultural nexus this training is considered the appropriate means of perfecting the healing ability.

In the most basic sense, any allopathic healer may be seen to, perhaps, be one whose desire is service to others in alleviation of bodily-complex and mental/emotional-complex distortions so that the entity to be healed may experience further catalyst over a longer period of what you call the life. This is a great service to others, when appropriate, due to the accumulation of distortions toward wisdom and love which can be created through the use of the space/time continuum of your illusion.

In observing the allopathic concept of the body complex as the machine, we may note the symptomology of a societal complex seemingly dedicated to the most intransigent desire for the distortions of distraction, anonymity, and sleep. This is the result, rather than the cause, of societal thinking upon your plane.

In turn this mechanical concept of the body complex has created the continuing proliferation of distortions towards what you would call ill-health due to the strong chemicals used to control, and hide, bodily distortions. There is a realization among many of your peoples that there are more efficacious systems of healing, not excluding the allopathic, but also including the many other avenues of healing.”

In this question Don asked Ra about the allopathic doctors in our medical community and how their efforts at promoting healing in their patients affects the pre-incarnative purposes, or karma, that might be manifesting as one kind of disease or another. Ra suggested that Don’s question was convoluted and did not lend itself to a single coherent answer, so Ra chose to make a few observations that began with the statement that “that which is allopathic among your healing practices is somewhat two-sided.”

The first side of our modern medical practices that Ra explored was the more helpful side that recognized that allopathic doctors are truly healers. For the most part, if a person in our modern times wishes to be of service to others by providing healing opportunities, going to medical school and learning about physical anatomy, the variety of diseases associated with each part of the physical anatomy, and the treatment of diseases and deformities via the great variety of medicines, or drugs, and also the surgical procedures that are available for healing is the way to become a healer.

Ra recognized and respected the desire of our medical doctors to provide healing opportunities for the minds and for the bodys of their patients. This type of healing would likely offer to the patient a longer period of time within its incarnation to complete its pre-incarnative lessons. Ra said that this was truly a great service “when appropriate”. I am assuming that such attempts at healing would not be appropriate when they would interfere with the pre-incarnative programming that might be using a certain distortion of mind or body as a means of learning certain lessons that would aid in the polarization process. Ra actually made that observation in this quote:

We might note further that when the one wishing to be healed, though sincere, remains unhealed, as you call this distortion, you may consider pre-incarnative choices; and your more helpful aid to such an entity may be the suggestion that it meditate upon the affirmative uses of whatever limitations it might experience. We would also note that in these cases the indigo-ray workings are often of aid. Ra, 73.19

However, when the healing efforts of a doctor are appropriate, Ra suggested that extending the life span of the patient is an effective way of giving the patient more time to utilize the catalyst of our third-density illusion and to realize more love and wisdom as fuel for our positive polarity.

Then Ra spoke to the other side of our allopathic type of medicine that is not so helpful in the healing process. The view that our medical community has taken in modern times of the human body being like a machine that functions the same for everyone, and which should respond to medications and other medical procedures the same every time, ignores the uniqueness of every person. Such thinking in our culture results in an “intransigent desire for the distortions of distraction, anonymity, and sleep.”I believe that the reason that this is so is because such a limited view of the body as a machine ignores the work that would be necessary to determine the uniqueness of every person. We are unique in how each of us might respond in a variety of ways to the causes of disease. And we are also unique when it comes to determining the unique treatment necessary to have any hope of truly healing a disease.

Ra completed their answer to Don’s question by saying that the “mechanical concept of the body complex”, combined with the use of strong chemicals, which we call medicines, to treat diseases, really didn’t have the capacity to heal the diseases. What happened instead was that only the symptoms of the disease were affected by being controlled and hidden. The actual disease remained active and free to manifest another way of expressing itself. Then Ra made a very interesting statement that could aid the healing process when they said: “We would also note that in these cases the indigo-ray workings are often of aid.” I believe that Ra was referring to our imaging ourselves as being healed at a place deep within our being as they noted in this quote:

One of the primal distortions of the Law of One is that of healing. Healing occurs when a mind/body/spirit complex realizes, deep within itself, the Law of One; that is, that there is no disharmony, no imperfection; that all is complete and whole and perfect. Thus, the intelligent infinity within this mind/body/spirit complex re-forms the illusion of body, mind, or spirit to a form congruent with the Law of One. The healer acts as energizer or catalyst for this completely individual process. (4.20)

I am guessing that this process is a portion of what might be the equivalent of white ceremonial magic which has the ability to create changes in consciousness at will. In this case I believe that we would be contacting our higher self in its form as our magical personality in order to be able to see ourselves as “complete and whole and perfect.” This movement to a place that is “deep within” would be accomplished by utilizing meditation and visualization and then generating the faith and will from within our being as the means of accomplishing such a healing as Ra described.

In 54.8 Ra had a beautiful and succinct description of our mind/body/spirit complex:

The mind/body/spirit complex is not a machine. It is rather what you might call a tone poem.

To me this quote suggests that our bodies are not only living creatures, but they express their sense of life in an unique and flowing rhythm that cycles through levels of experience between love, wisdom, and the blending of the two in an endless progression. It is almost as if our bodies have a mind of their own that can respond intelligently to the needs of the mind itself. In 84.17, Ra alluded to this possibility:

The energies transferred during the sexual activity are not, properly speaking, of space/time. There is a great component of what you may call metaphysical energy transferred. Indeed, the body complex as a whole is greatly misunderstood due to the post-veiling assumption that the physical manifestation called the body is subject only to physical stimuli. This is emphatically not so.

So, if our bodies are not “subject only to physical stimuli”, then the metaphysical energy that is transferred during sexual activity—which can only occur when the green-ray energy center is activated—would mean that at least the love energies of the heart chakra were being experienced. If higher energy centers were activated, then the light of the throat chakra could be experienced. And if the indigo chakra was also activated, then it could be possible that contact with intelligent energy would be experienced, and the body could then be part of a communication with the spirit. When the spirit is activated as a shuttle it provides communication with intelligent infinity, or the one Creator. Now that is the body functioning as a tone poem of significant potency and is the work of the Player on the Enhanced Gameboard of life!

This morning I continued my digging on the trenches that will house the additional 4 inch PVC pipe, one of which will be connected to the present two smaller sump pumps, and the other will be connected to the very large, 90 gal. per minute, sump pump, or so I thought. I was joined in the afternoon by two fellows from New Circle Mechanical who informed me that the 4 inch drain pipe for the large sump pump would need to be in another location by itself, so my digging this morning was a waste of time. Plus the direction that was needed to go for the larger sump pump’s drain pipe was close to a Tulip Poplar tree which meant some of its roots needed to be cut, and I felt bad about that. One of the fellows said that putting honey on the cut roots would help them to regrow faster, so I gave them a jar of honey in hopes that this might be true.

From A Book of Days, channeled by Carla L. Rueckert:

What Is Holy?

I am the Holy Spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I greet you in the consciousness of love.

The word “holy” is avoided by many who have felt that there is, indeed, a spirit which enhances the experience of humankind. We, ourselves, are careful in our use of this adjective. For it is not a part of the inspiration which love offers that it be understood as holy.

For in and of itself, love is not holy. For when all things are holy, then are none holy. Yet the holiness of the spirit of love resides in its sanctification of the ordinary in human experience. There is nothing that is not full of holiness. An instinct to love is the love of God. The principle of love imbues every particle of what you call matter and thought in creation.

Yet there must be the will to call that sanctification forth from within the skeletal walls of earth and rust that are so often perceived as the beginning and end of corporeal things. Call forth the sanctification of life by your will and allow your world to become holy. For as you see a holy world, so you shall share that vision and that truth with all whom you meet, inspiring each to the calling forth of that same sanctification. From such beginnings are worlds recreated and transformed.

We leave you in the abiding peace of the consciousness of love, now and ever. Amen.

I said the prayer at the Gaia Meditation tonight:

We come in the name of love and open our hearts, minds, and souls to send love, light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite love, light and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our love, light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.
