I did the Morning Offering and then got myself ready for the day. The Laitos channeling for this session comes from October 15, 1986:

I am Laitos. We greet you, my friends, in the Love and the Light of the infinite Creator. We are pleased to see the conscientiousness with which this instrument has gone about the challenging process and are pleased to have established a firm contact with her. We are also pleased that she was able to perceive our greeting to her personally, which helps strengthen her confidence in the contact. We have enjoyed working with this instrument and feel that she has made good progress. It is our privilege to have worked with this group over many of your years for the purpose of working with new instruments and aiding their training, shall we say, as vocal channels in the service of the infinite Creator. We are pleased to be a part of this process with you.
At this time, we wish to address a few words to the instrument, even though she will shortly be in Venice. [Inaudible]… It is our wish to be able to communicate clearly with this instrument, and as she is uncomfortable with this taking place through her, we transfer the contact at this time. I am Laitos.

I am Laitos, and we greet each again through this instrument in Love and in Light. We have been very grateful for being able to work with the instrument known as K, and we are aware that she is desirous of continuing her practice in the art of vocal channeling. We feel that there has been good discussion upon this topic between those of this group, and our comments are meant only to augment those concepts which have been presented thus far. In general, it is a helpful thing for a new instrument to have periodic exercise in the presence of an experienced instrument so that those small and sometimes medium-sized difficulties which occur in the practice of vocal channeling might receive the attention of experience and a sure hand at the appropriate time. This is the ideal situation and one which we endorse whenever it is possible. We are aware that the one known as K has moved quite a significant distance in her experience and practice in serving as a vocal channel, and has in many ways achieved enough proficiency and confidence that the exercising of her instrument would be possible in a carefully guarded situation, shall we say, in which there was not present the more experienced instrument.
However, we would also suggest as has been suggested that this guarding of the situation would take the form of utilizing the presence of at least two other entities who were not only in harmony of a stable nature with the one known as K, but also felt the open-hearted acceptance of this type of information and this means of its transmission. This kind of a situation is not that which is easily obtained, for the vagaries of the seeker’s path, and the choices that may be made upon it by any who travel it make gathering such a grouping of entities somewhat difficult. Even if such a situation were available to the one known as K, it would also be our recommendation that this new instrument also avail herself of periodic contact with this particular group for the purpose of reinforcing those basic principles which she has gained in this period of study and for the answering of those queries which are undoubtedly a part of her practice of this part, for as the practice continues, new experiences arise, and there is often confusion in the mind of the new instrument as to the most appropriate means of resolving each new experience, be it simply new and untested or a difficulty of some kind.
In this session Laitos said that they wanted to work with K in a way that would lessen her difficulties in becoming a vocal channel. On June 10, 1982, Laitos suggested the presence of at least two other entities for each channeling session:
That to all we ask that the practicing of the opening of the—we correct this instrument—that the opening of the instrument be attempted only when there is a supportive group of at least two other entities, one of which is preferably more experienced. We also suggest this thought to all.
If the one known as K does not feel that there is available to her a stable situation of the nature which we have described, we might recommend that there is still work that can be done in the practice of a portion of the art of vocal channeling. That practice does not, however, take the form of the actual vocalizing of our contact as is ongoing at the present moment, but would rather take the form of setting aside regular periods of meditation on a preferably daily basis, during which our conditioning vibration might be mentally requested and we might continue to familiarize ourselves and our contact to the one known as K and allow this new instrument to refine her ability to perceive our contact though there would be no transmission of thought other than our identification. The experience would be primarily one of recognizing our contact and experiencing the conditioning vibration…
Laitos went on to say if K does not feel that there is available to her a stable situation of the nature which we have described, we might recommend that there is still work that can be done in the practice of a portion of the art of vocal channeling, yet that practice does not take the form of vocalizing of our contact as is ongoing at the present moment, but it would take the form of setting aside regular periods of meditation on a daily basis during which our conditioning vibration might be mentally requested, and we might continue to familiarize ourselves and our contact to K and allow this new instrument to refine her ability to perceive our contact though there would be no transmission of thought other than our identification, so the experience would be one of recognizing our contact and experiencing the conditioning vibration. On September 23, 2000, Q’uo spoke of the value of experiencing the conditioning vibration:
There are others within the Confederation of Planets who have offered themselves over the years of this group’s history in a manner which may be seen as sending the basic vibration of Love that aids in each heart’s opening in some degree to the messages offered by other members of the Confederation. Some there are who have not chosen what you call the naming, who are unseen and unnamed, who have had their influence and continue to do so within this group’s circle of seeking. Each entity is available upon the mental request of any in this circle of seeking to join that seeker in the private meditation, not to speak or to communicate in words, but simply to lend the conditioning vibration which aids in the deepening of the meditation of those who call. This is our privilege and our honor, to aid each entity who calls in the meditative state. It is a steadying influence which brings a more focused approach for the seeker to the listening to the silence, to the one Creator, to the heart of the self.

This morning the quote from The Thunder of Silence is: “To us, it is given to understand how to rise above the battle between good and evil, to know how to still the storm, whether at sea or on land, whether a burning fire, an incoming tidal wave, or infection and contagion ravaging the land. To us, it is given to know how to say, “Thus far, and no farther,” and then to stand still, to retire within ourselves from the noise of the battle, without refuting, denying, or fighting, without ever wielding the sword. It is given to us to know that those who live by the sword shall die by the sword, and, therefore, we have put up our sword and will never again take out either a physical or a mental sword—not even a spiritual sword. In reality there is no power for us to oppose physically, mentally, or spiritually, so we need no sword. It has been given to us to know that we live and move and have our being in God in whom is no darkness at all, in whom is no warfare. It is given to us to know that the sovereign, divine remedy for all the ills of the world is to resist not evil.
Throughout all ages the world has been blessed with mystics who have made enduring contributions to the spiritual vision of the world, but just as the teaching found in this book cannot be understood by the masses, so the masses have not had the wisdom to heed these mystics or their teachings. No spiritual teaching can ever be understood, believed, or accepted by the unillumined mind which can only grasp what can be seen, heard, tasted, touched, or smelled. The unillumined mind cannot comprehend the spiritual presence or no-power because before spiritual wisdom can be understood, the Soul faculties must be opened and spiritual discernment aroused or awakened. All human beings are asleep—asleep in the belief of material and mental powers, asleep to the reality of spiritual being, to the transcendental and mystical Presence and Power which are called God.
The scriptures of every faith have revealed that there is a transcendental Presence which when embraced, encompasses our being and reaches our heart center, setting us apart from the world. Then the germs that lay low the world with grippe and flu do not come nigh our dwelling place, and even if momentarily they do, they are quickly removed. Alcoholism, drug addiction, and juvenile delinquency do not mar the peace and serenity of our household, and if they should touch it, they are quickly dispelled because we have learned how to hide ourselves in the secret place of the most High and live in an atmosphere of Love instead of hate, injustice, and inequality.
So it is that every spiritual healing is the result of one individual sitting in the Silence quietly, peacefully waiting, and then the Spirit comes through the consciousness of that one—the voice thunders in the Silence, and the Earth melts.
We become that one in proportion as we learn to be nothing, to be still, and to let the Light act in us and through us and as us. Someday, when this world comes to the place of solving its problems by meditation instead of by arms—by the sword—the Spirit will so illumine every situation that there will be no need for the knife or the pistol.
God does not impart glory to another; therefore, let us not attempt to be spiritually powerful, but be spiritually humble and let God’s Grace perform Its functions through us and as us. God functions through individual consciousness, and that becomes our consciousness when we have learned to be still enough to hear the thunder of the Silence.”
Later this morning I went outside and hand-weeded the Yellow Creeping Jenny Garden in the back yard. Then I hand-weeded the small Hosta Garden in the back yard.
This afternoon I went outside and used Whip Lash to weed the Liriope Garden next to the fishpond. Then I spread two bags of Red Cedar mulch in the Liriope Garden. Then I discovered that I needed another bag of Red Cedar mulch to complete the mulching. And I also decided to plant 6 more Coleus flowers at the base of the giant Sycamore tree in the back yard. So, I went on an errand run with my first stop being at Thieneman’s Nursery where I bought 1 bag of Red Cedar mulch. Then I stopped at Paul’s Fruit Market and bought 6 Coleus flowers. When I got home I spread the bag of Red Cedar mulch in the Liriope Garden, and that finished the mulching.

Rejoicing And Praising
Greetings in the love of Jesus Christ. I am of the principle of the consciousness of Love in the vibration which comforts this child.
As we have been speaking with you, we have refrained from using the usual appellations of lordship and kingdom, power and might. We have done this in order that you may perceive that we are part of consciousness, as you are part of consciousness, and are very near to you, not shutting you out but welcoming you into the consciousness which all may share.
Why, then, have words like “Lord” and “Holy” and “Blessed” and “Most High” been given to Jesus the Christ, to His Father, and to that principle of which I am a part?
My children, search within yourselves to see if you can rejoice without praising or worship without exalting. It is a thing man made for his own benefit, the naming and the praising. For we who communicate the consciousness of Love wish to offer inspiration and a feeling that there is a true mystery. And mankind, having seen the mystery, must express praise and joy in his own way.
Therefore, as you adore, use all the phrases that lift you up. And lift up Love, without self-consciousness but in the knowledge that you are urging yourselves on in a good race. For the more you laugh and rejoice in Love, the closer your consciousness is to dwelling within the consciousness and the kingdom of heaven.

We come in the name of Love and open our hearts minds, and souls to send Love, Light, and healing energy to Mother Earth as she brings forth a new Earth in the fourth density. We ask that the infinite Love, Light, and healing energy of the One Infinite Creator heal the hearts of all souls in pain on Earth tonight. May all souls on Earth feel our Love, Light, and healing energy in their hearts, their minds, and their souls. Amen.
