Anybody here read this book?

I just finished with it and have to say it was one of the most interesting NDE story's I have ever read.
That it happened to a brain surgeon was a big bonus.

I haven't read the book, but I have seen shows where a doctor goes through an NDE. I'm not sure if it was the same doctor.
