A while back, roughly 15-20 years or so, we got a broadcast from Andromeda that was, the way we understand it, a collection of proteins and their relative placements to each other, in a word, a growkit.
We did not know what do with this grow kit as we get these consistently from the 90% of universe that seems to want us to have children with it.
We organize these grow kit instructionals into piles of Rarity according to, well, Rarity... or rarity... Either is fine...
After we go through these piles we see if there is anything usable that we could, at some point, integrate into ourselves or our world view. Most of these grow kit children, as you may call them, are absolutely unintegratable to humanity, for reasons that I won't go into.
However, it seems that the signal we've gotten from Andromeda is genuine, in that it contains a instructional for a relationship that is distinctly not Human in nature and from a point of start that is clearly not able to maintain itself further.
In other words, we've received a list of Protein requests and a list of breeding components followed by a long list of prime numbers as well as other mathematical data, when we put these protein and breeding components into a vat they produce "viable humans".
So, what now?
