It's the equinox again. Winter downunder. I like to watch the sun set and rise and I keep an eye on the times. This morning it rose at 6:59, its supposed to be the shortest day of the year. The problem with that is the days were shorter 2 -4 weeks ago by about 10 - 15 minutes. They take it on the full moon so this does not make any sense. Allso, can't quite remember if it was last year or the one before. Sitting on my verandah watching the moon set one afternoon, alls good, the next afternoon it set about 10 degrees to the north. In one day! Just doesn't happen. Nothing said on the media. And I was looking. Then about a week later there was a 3or4 lines in the paper saying not to worry all is good. WTF not to worry. Think this would make global headlines. Makes one feel like a mushroom, kept in the dark and sh#t thrown on on top.
