Related to the Suppressed Consciousness documentary below.

The ancient Egyptians did not consider the brain important enough to preserve and it was removed entirely during the process of mummification. Other internal organs were placed in canopic jars to be entombed with the deceased. Only the heart was left inside the body cavity.

Consciousness has traditionally been associated with the human brain. It occurs to me that the reason heart disease is so prevalent in the world is a purposeful attempt to destroy collective consciousness.

As always, I may be completely and totally full of poo.

If BlatzAddict were here, he'd probably throw up the many MANY info graphics surrounding the study of the electromagnetic field of the heart, and how it connects us with: Our planet, other living beings, the universe its self, and how the heart's neural systems or 'nervous system' are akin to a 'second brain'.

The gut, the heart, and the brain are the big 3 neural networks of the nervous system.  This corresponds to the lower triad of chakras (red, orange, yellow), the bridge chakra (green), and the higher triad of chakras (blue, indigo, and violet), and so might be the energetic mediator between physical and metaphysical interactions.

That our Heart is in a sense it's own brain, might be what 'heart consciousness' is touching upon, using the circuitry in the heart more-so in responding to stimuli/experiences.
