"The moment contains love. The exercise is to consciously seek that love ... "
What does this mean? To constantly realize you are beeing loved? To use every opportunity to be of service? Radiate love?
I would say all of the above. In any manner you can 'connect' with Love in the moment is a pathway to empowering Love.

How do you define love? That may be a good place to start

IMO Love can't be defined.. love is dreamlike.

Second distortion defines it well I think, as it conveys it is the power (drive) from which all things are made and done. It is the root of everything that is of light and that is done with light.
On the greatest of scale, the love of the moment could be seen as that the entirety of infinity, in both its joys and sorrows just as what you approve and disapprove of, serves the purpose of holding the moment of yourself as perceived by yourself, allowing it to be experienced.

The more I read Confederation material, the more firmly it is pressed in my mind that
we really have no idea how to think love. Love is so all-encompassing that I tend to believe most attempts to grapple with it are instead handling a kind of projection of love, or love-in-context, rather than love qua love.
At worst I think we tend to turn love into an anti-concept in which we pile in all our positive conceptions and exclude all our negative conceptions, when it seems that love is far more unified and powerful as a result of that unity. For example, understanding negative experiences like hate and fear as a variety of love is mind-boggling, but those of the Confederation insist that love includes these as well. It seems like we hold prejudices that bias us towards a certain idea of the Creator from which these teachings on love are attempting to free us.
Here's a good Hatonn session on love. Key except:
Hatonn Wrote:Love is so simple, my friends, that it cannot be described. It can only be experienced.
Here's one example.
Quote:One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay his way through school, found he had only one thin dime left, and he was hungry. He decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water.
She thought he looked hungry so brought him a large glass of milk. He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"
"You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us never to accept pay for a kindness."
He said..... "Then I thank you from my heart." As Howard Kelly left that house, he not only felt stronger physically, but his faith in God and man was strong also. He had been ready to give up and quit.
Year's later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease. Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the nameof the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room.
Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life. From that day he gave special attention to the case.
After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval.
He looked at it, then wrote something on the edge and the bill was sent to her room. She feared to open it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill.
She read these words.....
"Paid in full with one glass of milk"
(Signed)
Dr. Howard Kelly
Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You, God, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

Love is the allcreative power. In relation to human beings it means different kinds of bonds - the Greeks used four words for love:
- eros - erotic bond, attraction,
- philia - friendship,
- storge - bond between family members,
- agape - love of God, charity, universal love (green ray), daya.
Some characteristics of agape are defined in these Bible verses (1 Cor 13,4-7):
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.

Seems like this is done with everything though, any aspect or dimension of the Creator is something of infinite intelligence and experience to be whole truly.
Although I say that, I think it is definitely possible to touch upon the core of a concept and usually this will be quite simple thoughts (complex thoughts reflect a distorted nature) that create a "click" within. I think this is the essence of clarity, it is not of a complex understanding and instead a simple view without distortions. One who is able to see beauty in others (view of clarity), for example, won't need to justify the perception of this beauty into each and every person with complex thoughts and instead will merely see the same simple core aspects of beauty that can be found within each, kinda like how I said often that good and evil both equally reflect the beauty of innocence.
To me love is not all that abstract of a concept of itself as it is the very first distortion possible to potentiated free will, its essence is then extremely pure and not a byproduct of countless other distortions giving birth to it which makes it easier to touch upon than sub-distortions of Love which reflect aspects of its spectrum. Love is the ability to have a feedback to perception, it is how the empty gave the Creator a drive to seek what is not empty to find itself and it is how each moment of non-emptiness is propelled into a following moment. Love is all energy and as such all energy is the feedback of beingness experiencing itself. Love is everything except what contains its potential as it is an intelligent distortion of beingness and not beingness itself which is defined by its ability to potentiate free will and to love (experience).
G. Chapman, author of a popular book, writes about five ways of sharing love - "languages of love":
- gift giving,
- quality time,
- words of affirmation,
- acts of service (devotion),
- physical touch.
