I've spoken before about tonglen, or the Buddhist practice of filtering the pain and suffering that we all experience.  Lion's Roar had a great introductory article I want to share.  It strikes me as a great way to practice lightening the planet's vibrations while simultaneously balancing those things we see within and without that we often seek to escape.

Chödrön Wrote:Rather than beating yourself up, use your own stuckness as a stepping stone to understanding what people are up against all over the world. Breathe in for all of us and breathe out for all of us. Use what seems like poison as medicine. Use your personal suffering as the path to compassion for all beings.
