Is History Channels Project Blue Book like the new X-files? Chronologically project blue book is decades before x-files but the theme is very similar. Project blue book is depicting an actual project with somewhat of a re-enactment feel to the story. Both shows explore government findings with two main characters tracking down the case. Although without Scully, Project Blue Books characters don't quite carry the same tension.
