I imagined the ending to a movie that doesn't exist where everyone celebrates a hard-won victory.
The world was saved but only barely. The weather was irreversibly altered, resulting in drastic changes like summer into winter in an instant.
The main characters in this imagining are enjoying a quiet victory with silent smiles on a summer beach when it begins to suddenly snow. Perhaps the weather will be drastic and cause problems, but they somehow managed to avoid a much scarier scenario. At least the sun will rise for them tomorrow!
