There are still a few registration slots open if there is anyone who hasn't heard the news yet who would like to attend an official L/L Research gathering in Prague! Wish I could go, would love to hear if anyone at Bring4th will be lucky enough to attend. Smile

Quote:L/L Research is happy to announce its first seeker gathering outside the US! In collaboration with our friends of the Czech translation team, we will spend a weekend in the heart of Europe in the beautiful city of Prague. There we will host a Friday-Sunday event that is modeled on the gatherings we hold at home in the States where the emphasis is on the magic and the sense of home generated when those of the open-heart come together.

Venue
Prostor8: https://www.prostor8.cz/
Google maps: https://goo.gl/maps/TbYvZZxt5Ks

Begins: Friday, October 11, at 5:00 PM CEST
Ends: Sunday, October 13, with an evening dinner

Language: The event will be conducted in English

Curriculum: Attendee Offerings
The curriculum for the weekend is created by presentations and offerings from attendees. Presenting is not required, but each person who registers will have the opportunity to bring something to share with the gathered circle of seekers.
There is no strict format or set of guidelines for presentations. Examples of presentations may include:

  • Sharing an important event or aspect of your personal journey.
  • Facilitating a group activity, like an exercise or a guided meditation.
  • Guiding a group discussion on a question or topic, whether to gain insight or just to have a lively discussion.
  • Playing or performing music, reciting poetry, or other creative expression.
We ask only that your presentation be in some way related to spirituality/philosophy/personal growth, and of course not be terribly offensive to other attendees. Within those parameters the possibilities are infinite.
This year we are designing a new system of presentation submission and selection for all of our gatherings thanks to the technical genius of our dear friend and Prague resident, Vojtech Schlesinger. After everyone is registered we will provide further instructions for sending your presentation idea.

Cost
The cost for the event will be $275. That includes Friday dinner + Saturday/Sunday lunch and snacks (with vegan and vegetarian options).

In budgeting the cost, L/L Research is expecting only to cover expenses. If surplus funds are available, they will be granted to the Czech translation team, a satellite station of L/L Research, in their start-up efforts to translate and publish L/L material into Czech.

Attendees will be responsible for dinners Saturday and Sunday night at nearby restaurants where we will have group reservations. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available.

Lodging
Hotel accommodations within walking distance are plentiful and reasonably priced in the area. After the registration is full for the event, we will email some nearby recommendations ranging from $33 - $136/night.

Transport
The local airport is Václav Havel Prague Airport (PRG). It is located 19 km from the venue. It takes approximately 40 minutes (or twice as long in heavy traffic) to reach the center by car and about 60 minutes on public transport (bus + subway).
From the airport you will have several options for transportation to the venue, including: public transportation, Uber, taxi, a shuttle company, or a pickup previously arranged with your hotel.

Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation. We will provide a comprehensive set of instructions for choosing different transportation options after everyone is registered.

Curriculum
The curriculum is created a month or two before the event. Its basic structure will be similar to our own Homecoming Gatherings.

Registration
The Prostor8 venue will comfortably hold a circle of 35 people. To book your registration, please click here.

We hope to see you in Prague! Smile
Would love to attend as I am in Europe, but it's still too expensive for my circumstances Sad
I'm sorry, Rita! I know they picked Prague because of its relative low cost, but I know those expenses add up. I wouldn't be able to afford to attend Homecoming here in the states without a fair amount of help that I am eternally grateful to receive, so I definitely understand how tough it can be to even just get by these days.
Hey everyone! There are still a few seats left for the Prague Gathering event, and two of the Czech translators have generously offered to sponsor tuition for an attendee (or pair of attendees) for whom the alleviation of (some) of the financial burden would help them to be able to attend - looking at you, maybe, Rita!!

Quote:We, the Czech Law of One translation group, in collaboration with L/L Research, are offering two sponsorships for the Law of One Seeker Gathering in Prague this October. (https://bring4th.org/news/index.php?newsid=170)

We encourage European readers who might be discouraged by cost to apply. You should be familiar with Law of One books and be able to communicate in English. Sponsorship covers the $275 fee for one person, however it does not cover cost of lodging and travel to Prague.

If you are interested, please send an email to contact@llresearch.org with the words "I want to be there" in the subject line with a description of why you want to attend. Your email needs to be in English, brief and in your own words. Applications are accepted until August 18th and we will notify winners by September 1st.

We look forward to seeing you in Prague!

best of luck with this Prague Gathering!

Having just returned from the Louisville Homecoming, it is a very *special* thing when Wanderers are able to gather like this.

It is like a reminder (in the flesh) of what our spirit complexes have always told us is the reality of things; but we could never truly FEEL in this earth plane.

Have fun guys!
Gary did a great write-up of this event here:
