For those who don't remember, Akhenaten, (or Ikhnaton as transliterated by Ra) was contacted by Ra, began to decree that Law of One, but his beliefs were not accepted.

This is interesting, partly because this occurred during recent enough Egyptian history that we have records of this, and Ra is correct on what happened.

Here is the quote from the Ra Material:

Quote:In the Eighteenth Dynasty, as it is known in your records of space/time distortions, we were able to contact a pharaoh, as you would call him. The man was small in life-experience on your plane and was a… what this instrument would call, Wanderer. Thus, this mind/body/spirit complex received our communication distortions and was able to blend his distortions with our own. This young entity had been given a vibratory complex of sound which vibrated in honor of a prosperous god, as this mind/body complex, which we call instrument for convenience, would call “Ammon.” The entity decided that this name, being in honor of one among many gods, was not acceptable for inclusion in his vibratory sound complex. Thus, he changed his name to one which honored the sun disc. This distortion, called “Aten,” was a close distortion to our reality as we understand our own nature of mind/body/spirit complex distortion. However, it does not come totally into alignment with the intended teach/learning which was sent. This entity, Ikhnaton, became convinced that the vibration of One was the true spiritual vibration and thus decreed the Law of One.

However, this entity’s beliefs were accepted by very few. His priests gave lip service only, without the spiritual distortion towards seeking. The peoples continued in their beliefs. When this entity was no longer in this density, again the polarized beliefs in the many gods came into their own and continued so until the one known as Muhammed delivered the peoples into a more intelligible distortion of mind/body/spirit relationships.

Without further ado, I will show the great Hymn to Aten, a beautiful poem about the Law of One.
Quote: How manifold it is, what thou hast made!
They are hidden from the face (of man).
O sole god, like whom there is no other!
Thou didst create the world according to thy desire,
Whilst thou wert alone: All men, cattle, and wild beasts,
Whatever is on earth, going upon (its) feet,
And what is on high, flying with its wings.

The countries of Syria and Nubia, the land of Egypt,
Thou settest every man in his place,
Thou suppliest their necessities:
Everyone has his food, and his time of life is reckoned.
Their tongues are separate in speech,
And their natures as well;
Their skins are distinguished,
As thou distinguishest the foreign peoples.
Thou makest a Nile in the underworld,
Thou bringest forth as thou desirest
To maintain the people (of Egypt)
According as thou madest them for thyself,
The lord of all of them, wearying (himself) with them,
The lord of every land, rising for them,
The Aton of the day, great of majesty

Very beautiful. What is particularly striking is how he is the god of all nations. Remember, if you read the old testament, that it is clearly emphasized and repeated again and again that Yahweh is the god of Isreal, not all nations.

If you like this, Philip Glass set this it to music in his opera Akhnaten.
Wow, that is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this. Smile It really shows the contrast between non-human understanding, and human understanding.

Thank you for this. Where did you find it?

Thank you, that is quite interesting! Have you seenn it written in ancient Egyptian or only in this form? I would love to find out what it sounds like in its native tongue.
