Anyone familiar with the Aware Experiment headed by Dr. Sam Parnia? Preliminary results are due to come out at the end of this year or early next year, and it has many people--including myslef--excited. Dr. Parnia has come out recently and stated that contrary to what 'we' would normally believe, there seems to be evidence that a form of consciousness continuous to exist after physical death of the body. I thought that this experiment had the ability to change the world in 2008, when I heard of its development. It is interesting, I think, that the results are being posted during this time of great transition. Maybe when these results are published, it will mark the beginning of the awakening for so many people. Science to announce a strong case for the soul, light-body, etc. could really prove the spark in the hearts of people worldwide to begin seeking for the first time.

I think this is a very exciting development. Any thoughts?

Great article, Pickle. Thank you for posting it. Hopefully Parnia's research will add to the already explicit examples of scientific validity.

Where is the evidence?

The results of the experiment are not going to be released until late this year or early next year. Here is the discussion I was referring to in my post:

“The evidence that is interesting to me is that, contrary to my training, the entity we call the human mind and consciousness appears to continue to exist during the early stage of death.”

To my knowledge, this is all that has been said about the results so far. But this is encouraging.
