Full Version: the "movie screen" analogy for creating your reality

I remember coming across this particular analogy a few years ago.

It runs like this:

* that our Mind creates the template for our reality and existence, and then this is projected into the Real World as experience

* like a movie screen, once the image is projected, it is pretty hard to change. I guess you can draw on the movie screen if you want, but it is much easier to make changes to the movie reel being projected

* changing the movie reel is the same as changing the Contents of Consciousness. Your expectations, your anxieties, your hopes, your plans

- -

so the only real effective way of changing reality and your existence is by changing (purifying/balancing) the contents of Mind. This will then be projected out as a more beautiful picture/actions in the world automatically.

it also evoked an old Latin saying:

"Caelum, non animum, mutant, qui trans mare currunt." (Those who run off across the sea change their climate but not their mind. -Horace, Espistles)

(I think Mr David Icke presented this in an informal talk one day.)

I LOVE THIS ANALOGY!
