Just in case anybody saw this recent article from WSJ:

Probiotics' Benefits May Be More Than a Gut Feeling

Or for that matter, with regard to the plethora of other articles, health, and medical "experts" that claim dietary supplements are not regulated by FDA-

The FDA is actually conferred regulatory authority over probiotics- and all dietary supplements- through the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA) as well as the Nutrition Labeling and Education Act (NLEA). Furthermore, all manufacturers of probiotic supplements are required to comply with CFR Title 21 - Part 111 - Current Good Manufacturing Practice in Manufacturing, Packaging, Labeling, or Holding Operations for Dietary Supplements.

Fascinating how this particular piece of misinformation "just so happens" to keep getting pumped by the mainstream media, and even medical doctors.
