Maldek was apparently known to be a planet before the Ra communications. It was even named beforehand.

Quote:6.10 Questioner: Both.

Ra: At one time/space, in what is your past, there was a population of third-density beings upon a planet which dwelt within your solar system.

There are various names by which this planet has been named.

The vibratory sound complex most usually used by your peoples is Maldek.

These entities, destroying their planetary sphere, thus were forced to find room for themselves upon this third density which is the only one in your solar system at their time/space present which was hospitable and capable of offering the lessons necessary to decrease their mind/body/spirit distortions with respect to the Law of One.

there seems to be a link to Theosophy:

"In UFO and channelling related sources, such as The Law of One, and also in the Ascended Master Teachings, a group of religions based on Theosophy, Phaeton is referred to as Maldek."

anyone else have any insightful info? recall of past lives from Maldek?
Not sure about the origins of the name Maldek. I have heard Malona, Marduk, 'The Silver Tongued', Lucifer and some others too.
The 'mal' (latin) could refer to bad or evil, the 'dek' (greek) to the number 10, or the tenth planet.
Bad tenth planet - Maldek?

Aloysius

I'm pretty sure Mal originally meant tongue. The shift into being interpreted as "bad" has to do with all the bible passages renouncing the tongue for it's potential for foul deeds, the bible being widely distributed in latin. So I would say "silver tongued" would be the closest of those examples Ashim.
Then again I have little to no idea myself.
Aloysius may have gotten that from the online articles about Solex Mal and others. According to them Maldek is "silver tongue"

The planet is also known as Tiamat.

Unbound

It's the shadow planet corresponding in our system with Da'ath.

Marduk, sungod, son of Tiamat?
Olbers seems as the first person in recorded history, who proposed that the asteroid belt, was the remnants of a planet that had been destroyed.
