You do not have to completely believe in magick to perform it. You do not have to have completely blind faith. What is required is that you are open to magick working and that you mostly believe it is possible. If your mind denies the possibility greatly, it will destroy any thought-form you create.
So if you're new to magick set the intent of: "My mind's doubt has no bearing on the thought-forms I create." With that truly done, you can have the slightest doubt and your workings will still be feasible. The key is not to let your mind limit you. Believe that your workings can work right away and as strongly as possible. Without any limits, the universe is yours.
In other words: You merely have to be open to things happening. You do not have to believe they will happen but that they can.
