Cyan

I wanna say screw you for being so nice conifer but I always find that funny because of if taken literally it can have only 2 meanings.

Screw as in turn/twist around you/ego

Or

"Make love to" yourself.

Either of which is actually a nice recommendation BigSmile

So yes, I thank you for your nice poetry coni
those are all lovely but i especially enjoyed the third one in that series conifer....thank you for warming my heart Smile

the energy of the poetry reminded of this:

does

does anyone on this freaking planet care

about the suffering going on down here.

society in general certainly doesnt .

dont bother me with dead children and tyrants

ive got a text message i have to read

omg lol omg ha ha lol

see

wasnt that much more important than a 3 year old

blown to bits and pieces blood splattered all over

the place

spread across a ditch

why of course it was.

so long as it's not me who cares

not i

oops have to check another message

omg lol omg ha ha

Heart
Heart

don't depend on another human being to be your source of love
cause humans have a veil and forget we shall...don't depend on human love

instead focus on what is always with you...i point now to the core
release the bonds of past that bind you...there's much left to explore

it's not Love if it's not dependable
for Love is always present...Love is always full

it's beautiful...it's bountiful...it's musical...it's wonderful
it's magical...it's shareable...sometimes it's hysterical

you can depend on the rivers to flow
you can depend on the cooling breeze to blow

you can depend on the flowers to grow
you can depend on a snail to move slow

you can depend on the earth and the sky
you can depend on a desert being dry

you can depend on a child asking “why?”
you can depend on what is born to one day die

life is love eternal...birth and death are just transitions
when we leave this body behind...we merely change positions

instead of moving around in space...we move around in time
there is no end to our evolution...towards greater delight we climb

it's not Light if it's not dependable
Light is always present...Light is always full

it's colorful...it's comical...it's bearable...it's possible
it's mystical...it's natural...sometimes it's just fanciful

you can depend on the birds and the bees
you can depend on the fruit bearing trees

you can depend on a lock to have keys
you can depend on a mouse to eat cheese

you can depend on the full moon to wane
you can depend on the clouds bringing rain

you can depend on the spaghetti to stain
you can depend on 'depends' if your insane
Heart

sometimes love
flows on through
without any resistance

in those times
i become
a vessel of assistance

this smile is a beacon of light
so bright for the world to see

this hug is a blanket so tight
it might make you feel free

this will is the power to create
not fate but what i desire

this heart is a beating of warmth
not a toy to play with but fire
Heart

each day offers grist for the mill
one's power resides in one's will

tap into this source by becoming still
the creative force answers as we chill

the way we respond...the tones of our voice
everything matters even the tiniest of choice

the vibe that we put out boomerangs back
renewing intentions helps keep us on track

spirit is in the seemingly dull and mundane
can't you hear the angels singing the refrain?

a chorus of thankfulness...an orchestra of praise
if one seeks to be wealthy it is gratitude that pays

the heart marks the spot of the true treasure
the jewels one finds there are beyond measure

but beware for lions patiently guard the gate
before one enters it is wise to contemplate
NOTHING'S A GIFT

Nothing's a gift, it's all on loan.
I'm drowning in debts up to my ears.
I'll have to pay for myself
with my self,
give up my life for my life.

Here's how it's arranged:
The heart can be repossessed,
the liver, too,
and each single finger and toe.

Too late to tear up the terms,
my debts will be repaid,
and I'll be fleeced,
or, more precisely, flayed.

I move about the planet
in a crush of other debtors.
some are saddled with the burden
of paying off their wings.
Others must, willy-nilly,
account for every leaf.

Every tissue in us lies
on the debit side.
Not a tenacle or tendril
is for keeps.

The inventory, infinitely detailed,
implies we'll be left
not just empty-handed
but handless too.

I can't remember
where, when, and why
I let someone open
this account in my name.

We call the protest against this
the soul.
And it's the only item
not included on the list.

Heart
Heart

listen to that heart inside pounding
the pulse of life...isn't it astounding?
connecting with the earth is so grounding
when all of her beauty is surrounding
I light the candle and wonder,
Did I call the flame or did it call me?
Like a moth am I drawn to it's light?
Like the moth I long to burn,
Though I seek the flame within.
Wandering a land of dreams. a tear rolls down an angels cheek, made of ice the angel weeps. a land frozen in time and manner. snow builds up, there is no sun to hold it back. the sky cracks, blue of the lightest hue crumbles to the void. light fades and the warmth has fled. nothing moves, all is still. love of the creator is turned away. unable to feel, a man kneels in the snow. staring straight ahead. eyes blue as ice and piercing as a blade. unfocused they stare on. armor of sliver and silk loses its shine. the cape of green turns dull and without life. this world is fading away. its maker lost in time and thought. frozen without words. warmth fled from his being. high above watching the land fade to darkness a bird of flame circles. its song speaks of all things that were lost to this land, but is barely heard. never giving up it will circle endlessly and one day the man will hear. and maybe this land will once again be warm. but not this day, nor the days to come. for now everything sleeps in the strangle hold of ice. the man a statue of stone.
When Death Comes

When death comes
like the hungry bear in autumn
when death comes and takes all the bright coins from his purse

to buy me, and snaps his purse shut;
when death comes
like the measle-pox;

when death comes
like an iceberg between the shoulder blades,

I want to step through the door full of curiosity, wondering;
what is it going to be like, that cottage of darkness?

And therefore I look upon everything
as a brotherhood and a sisterhood,
and I look upon time as no more than an idea,
and I consider eternity as another possibility,

and I think of each life as a flower, as common
as a field daisy, and as singular,

and each name a comfortable music in the mouth
tending as all music does, toward silence,

and each body a lion of courage, and something
precious to the earth.

When it's over, I want to say: all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.
I was a bridegroom, taking the world into my arms.

When it's over, I don't want to wonder
if I have made of my life something particular, and real.
I don't want to find myself sighing and frightened
or full of argument.

I don't want to end up simply having visited this world.

Heart
Heart

we must make some space
in order for grace
to enter into our lives

expanding our boundaries
eroding our walls
we must learn to surrender like the water falls

the flood gates will open
when we put in the token
of love, light and unity

the connections they deepen
the more often we're leaping
into the alluring unknown
Heart

there's nothing more beautiful than a heart overflowing
for no other reason than the joy to keep growing

imagine how the sun feels to be such an outpouring
be that light to each other and i promise you'll be soaring

for when you uplift another you can't help but also rise
love isn't a rehearsal...love greets each moment with surprise

the creation is forever asking us to surrender and let go
to drop our masks of personality and to allow our essence to show
The Seven Of Pentacles

Under a sky the color of pea soup
she is looking at her work growing away there
actively, thickly like grapevines or pole beans
as things grow in the real world, slowly enough.
If you tend them properly, if you mulch, if you water,
if you provide birds that eat insects a home and winter food,
if the sun shines and you pick off caterpillars,
if the praying mantis comes and the ladybugs and the bees,
then the plants flourish, but at their own internal clock.

Connections are made slowly, sometimes they grow underground.
You cannot tell always by looking what is happening.
More than half the tree is spread out in the soil under your feet.
Penetrate quietly as the earthworm that blows no trumpet.
Fight persistently as the creeper that brings down the tree.
Spread like the squash plant that overruns the garden.
Gnaw in the dark and use the sun to make sugar.

Weave real connections, create real nodes, build real houses.
Live a life you can endure: Make love that is loving.
Keep tangling and interweaving and taking more in,
a thicket and bramble wilderness to the outside but to us
interconnected with rabbit runs and burrows and lairs.

Live as if you liked yourself, and it may happen:
reach out, keep reaching out, keep bringing in.
This is how we are going to live for a long time: not always,
for every gardener knows that after the digging, after
the planting,
after the long season of tending and growth, the harvest comes.

Heart
Heart

to love is to accept ~all things~ exactly as they are
inclusiveness...forgiveness...respectfulness...love is this

love is that yearning to give a helping hand
love is that burning desire to truly understand

love is the root from which each moment transpires
love is the reason i write in the hope that it inspires

love is an openness...a willingness...a vulnerability
in it's purest state love is the essence of creativity
Heart

if your intention is pure
the outcome will surely
be a manifestation of love

for when you invoke light
and start shining bright
you attract forces above

don't shrink down in fear
when challenged my dear
keeping centered is the test

stay out of your own way
and listen when i say,
"you can only do your best"
Heart

we can all radiate in every direction
it's all about intention...intention gives direction

if you intend to be a sun shining light on everyone
meet the moment with joy...be an extension of fun

extend through song...extend through dance
extend through play...extend through romance

stretch those limbs towards the distant sky
reaching up high...forever reaching high
Heart

seek not
and be found
by the ground
of all being

beneath all the layers
beyond the naysayers
the truth awaits
its glorious discovery

a single identity so sure of it self
that worlds of forgetfulness are designed
just so consciousness
can rambunctiously play

there is a purity
undergirding creation
of which no illusion of matter
will ever touch
Heart

let go of all your history
step into the mystery
where you and i cease to be
all that's left is unity

releasing all resistance
how can i be of assistance?
one view point for existence
all i know is persistence

yet for what do i endure?
of this i'm not so sure
just this longing to share love
the source we're emanations of

this center from which i feel
it is here that seems so real
i don't know what else to peel
how does a spoke become the wheel?
Stone

Go inside a stone
That would be my way.
Let somebody else become a dove
Or gnash with a tiger's tooth.
I am happy to be a stone.

From the outside the stone is a riddle:
No one knows how to answer it.
Yet within, it must be cool and quiet
Even though a cow steps on it full weight,
Even though a child throws it in a river;
The stone sinks, slow, unperturbed
To the river bottom
Where the fishes come to knock on it
And listen.

I have seen sparks fly out
When two stones are rubbed,
So perhaps it is not dark inside after all;
Perhaps there is a moon shining
From somewhere, as though behind a hill-
Just enough light to make out
The strange writings, the star-charts
On the inner walls.

Heart

Thanks, haqiqu, such a beautiful and soulful poem Heart
Grace

Thanks & blessings be
to the Sun & the Earth
for this bread & this wine,
this fruit, this meat, this salt,
this food;
thanks be & blessing to them
who prepare it, who serve it;
thanks & blessings to them
who share it
(& also the absent & the dead).
Thanks & Blessing to them who bring it
(may they not want),
to them who plant & tend it,
harvest & gather it
(may they not want);
thanks & blessing to them who work
& blessing to them who cannot;
may they not want - for their hunger
sours the wine & robs
the taste from the salt.
Thanks be for the sustenance & strength
for our dance & work of justice, of peace.

Hello. Just wanted to post a poem here partially because its a poetry section and share it with some that are experiencing similar things.

Energy,
woven entanglement.
shallow depth's corrode mind's eye.
a distant sorrow, lost time, NO time
no where to go, sight searching constructed thoughts
lead senseless agenda's hungry
for flesh. feed me,
be me, running in triangles,
dizzy pyramid's vibrating beam me up.

galactic sunrise on the horizon
where tide's swallow mountains and
multiple moon's eat emotion.
Indian tentacles wrap heart filled imagination.
Heart

when your in your element...whatever that may be
singing, dancing, painting or whatever sets you free

when your in your element...past and future disappear
there's only the moment...that much becomes clear

when your in your element and living out your dreams
passion mixed with desire...from your heart love beams

when your in your element...nothing can bring you down
all creation creates with you as synchronicities abound
Heart

this journey through moments is all preparation
for what? you ask...for transcending separation

all these cells we call selves alive for collaboration
our mysterious existence pleads for celebration

hearts bleeding upon the wheel of reincarnation
souls feeding on the love that sourced creation

time fleets forward towards eternity's elation
space meets itself in the still point of relation
Heart

silence is what keeps...all duality in balance
if you feel off center...to the source re-enter

there you'll be refreshed...reborn through remembrance
to the golden rays of silence...i bow down in reverence

silence is beyond all forms and beyond all names
the quiet witness to life...the one playing all the games

silence is the still point...silence is the fulcrum
silence is so wholesome...silence is true freedom
Heart

invoke your heart before you speak
seek and you might find
that all of humankind
is inextricably intertwined

like cobwebs lined with dew
so easily we forget what's true
too much focus on what we do
while our beingness is forever new

yes...linear life makes us blind
opinions confine our minds
the truth needs to be refined
to silence we must resign

make sacred space to unbind
take time to relax and unwind
and when you feel so inclined
ask yourself, "who designed?"

all of this
