RE: 'Consciousness' furballs - nwthomas - 03-24-2011 One could also use the words "active" and "passive" to convey my intended meaning. Here is a relevant quote: Quote:92.20 Questioner: The Matrix of the Mind is depicted as a male on the card and the Potentiator as female. Could Ra state why this is and how this affects these two archetypes?I had in mind something along the lines of what Ra here describes as "that which reaches" and "that which awaits the reaching." RE: 'Consciousness' furballs - 3DMonkey - 03-24-2011 I'm definitely listening. Could you try to articulate your deep thoughts on this quote you have written? "I am also of the opinion that Free Will and Love, in the sense of the first two distortions of the One Infinite Creator, are names for the two poles of this primal polarity:" RE: 'Consciousness' furballs - nwthomas - 03-24-2011 Thank you for your interest! I have previously made an attempt at doing this in this blog post: http://antitheology.wordpress.com/2011/03/20/ras-cosmology-the-creator-the-first-distortions-and-the-logos/ Unfortunately these concepts are very difficult to think about or discuss. I would suggest private meditation on the concepts in question to be potentially more fruitful. It seems to me that metaphysical information is directly available to us from metaphysical sources, given the will to seek this information and an openness to trusting intuitions. So if what I wrote there doesn't clear anything up for you, then that might be something to try. I do not find reading to be sufficient for me to grasp metaphysical concepts on an intuitive level. From reading one gets intellectual ideas. One can think of the intellectual ideas as receptacles into which one can place the intuitions, with the intuitions being the real information. |
